Good quality and you get everything you need to start learning. Makes a great gift idea and it's fun and easy to do. Very relaxing hobby! The only thing I'd add would be some core wool and I would have liked to see just a bit more quantity of each color but this really is a great kit both for the price and quality of the items included. You get 50 different colors and it's a good amount of each color but if I was being picky I'd say I would like to see just a bit more of each color and maybe the upgraded felting pad. Just my opinion of what other options there could be but I have purchased this for myself as well as one to gift to my friend and we both love the kit itself so I give it high marks! It has multiple sizes and quality needles and they give you more than enough to last a while. I have had just 1 break and it was because I was felting a bit too hard at first. It's really a lite tapping motion more than stabbing the needles into your project. The kit has all of the essentials to get you started with 2 different tool styles and cleaning cloth and even some eyes and noses in a little case with some other little tools and odds and ends. As far as cons there really aren't any but I'd recommend the thicker pad there's a few on here for around $10 if you really get into this hobby. The pad included in the kit is ok but it's small and wears down quickly. I noticed after only using it after a few hours that it has a noticeable dent and I was felting hard at first too but it did wear down fast but they're relatively inexpensive to replace/upgrade. The carrying cases are really nice too and make keeping the kit organized and portable a breeze! You get a cosmetic type bag for tools and stuff, with a box shaped one for your wool!

The variety of tools and accessories makes it perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike. The wool is soft and easy to work with, and the molds help create perfect shapes. The only small downside is that the scissors are a bit small for thicker wool, but they work fine for lighter tasks. I have made a couple of felted animal kits and enjoyed them so I thought I'd like to try something on my home and this kit looked great and was a good price. Here's what I think about this kit: It has LOTS of different colors of wool but they're very small. If you were to felt one of them into a ball, it would be about 2.5 inches in diameter. You either make something very small or have to use multiple colors for your project. It has four different sizes of needles, several of each in different tubes, and they are stored in the lid of the case. The case itself is super nice! It could be used as a large cosmetic case. The fabric is very nice and the zipper is well-sewn. It comes with a couple of little bags that contain little black plastic eyes and doo-dads that are supposed to be hanging loops or something. It comes with a finger and a thumb cot that you MUST wear while poking that needle. I don't really care for the covered foam pad because it makes the wool stick to it and your project becomes fuzzy.

What a great start up kit, it has everything you need for beginners, the felting pad was kinda small like hand size, I purchased one a bit bigger, I don't suggest this for kids under12. Felting uses very sharp needles, luckily this kit supplies finger protectors!

Nicely sized kit and has a lot of items. The bag comes wrapped in plastic. It has a nice strap and fits a lot! Very cute!

I bought the Medium set and it literally only came with the wool, wool pad, and needles. Everything else was missing.

Digo, la cantidad de lana por color es muy escaza, pero me dijeron que era de bastante buena calidad. Son embargo, en mi ciudad, hay lugares que venden bastante lana, a mejores precios. De todas formas, usé todo el equipo para hacerle un regalo a mi novia, me gustó mucho como quedó y volvería a recomendar este kit

Es un kit adecuado pero le hace falta un rollo de alambre para el esqueleto de los proyectos, así ya estaría completo. Los materiales son de buena calidad para principiantes, contiene una gran variedad de colores y herramientas. Es un buen producto.
