Just one nit, otherwise great
Years ago I bought a pair of leather gloves with thinsulate from a big-box variety store. I bought them in extra-large, and even so the fingers and the wrist length were a tad too short. But they were pretty warm, and lasted well. However now the store no longer has them, at least here in Tennessee, so I bought these.I ordered extra-large again, and to my surprise the fingers on these are actually long enough for my fingers. They also come up the wrist more, although still not as much as I would like. These do not use thinsulate, but are advertised as "Multilayer Microfiber Insulation Lining." This is shown on the label inside the glove as "50% polyproylene (sic), 50% nylon." (I believe that should be "polypropylene.") It is actually warmer than the thinsulate in the old gloves, but I don't think it will last as long. The wrists have snaps to close them tighter, something my old gloves did not have. I found that I could close one snap with the gloves on, but not the other. Not a problem; I close the tougher one with an unfettered hand, then put on and snap the other. The snaps are plastic. They are attached to the leather with large retainer buttons, and so should not pull out of the material too easily. The nit: Inside the tips of two of the fingers is something (it feels like perhaps a protruding end of stiff plastic thread) that pokes my finger tips if I pull the gloves tight on my hands. Most of the time this is not really a problem, since, as I said, the fingers are plenty long enough. One caveat: the fingers on these gloves are pretty tight on my fingers, and I have fairly slim fingers (10-1/2 ring size).

Very nice gloves
These are very nice gloves for the money. I cannot find 2XXL gloves in the department stores so was glad to find these online. The sizing chart is pretty close. My hands are a little over 11" around and these were a little tight the first few times I wore them. They have loosened up after wearing them. If they had offered a 3XXXL I probably would have ordered them. I dinged them one star because they are not quite as supple as some other gloves I've had. I think that's probably due to the Heatrac insulation system. Essentially they are one glove made of the insulation inserted and sewn into a leather glove. They are VERY warm so any quibbles about suppleness are quickly forgotten when it's snowing out and the temperature is on the low side of freezing. The black deerskin is dressy enough for all but the most formal urban encounters. Caiman specializes in work gloves and these appear to be well made and promise long life. I would recommend these especially if you have big, hard to fit, hands.

Okay but not so great.
First of all, when I received them, although they are the same size on the label, you could obviously tell one was bigger than the other which was kind of a disappointment.I got to try them for my first winter in Minnesota, I am not used to winters THAT cold so even with the gloves on, I wouldn't feel my fingers in the morning while driving. I don't know if it's because of the tough winter or the gloves though. They already look really used up despite being worn for one winter only so I think I might have to buy another pair for next year.

Finally, gloves for the big hands!!!
These are some really nice gloves. Kind of a mix of dress and sport gloves. The deerskin is soft and pliable, stretches to follow the hand, and just textured enough to grip well. The interior "sock', is really soft and very warm. There's a snap in each glove to close the cuff even tighter that the elastic. I guess that's to keep snow or other stuff out of the glove with your hand in it. I know I'm really going to enjoy driving with these gloves.

Fantastic!
I have purchased four pair of gloves from this company as gifts. Each time they arrive very quickly and are high quality, nice looking gloves. They tend to run a little large, so be aware of that, but otherwise, I could not be more satisfied with the service, quality and price. I wish that I needed to buy more just because it is so refreshing to get a high quality product three days after ordering it.

Soft, stylish and a perfect fit
A great fit and a great feel. Deerskin is a good choice for a warm, weather resistant glove. Getting a leather gloves wet, can ruin most quickly. This isn't a problem with deerskin. It dries, and shows no ill effects. These are also priced well below most other deerskin gloves, and are of a quality that belies the low price. I'd recommend them to anyone.
