My wife and I have 2 can am spyders. Their seats aren't that comfortable. Without customizing a seat, like a Seth Lamm, at great expense, this is the next best alternative. I've used mine on a Honda, a Suzuki with a Corbin, and then moved it to the can am. I've had mine since 2009. My wife used mine on an extended trip on hers and really liked it. I have the original, this Rev B is more breathable. Add air to only the thinnest amount that fits you. Great seat pad

So I bought this motorcycle seat cushion for my little cottage on brown lane. Now, I did not take a long ride, so this may need to be updated, I just popped up the road to Safeway to get some tucker for my tea. The Airhawk is a semi inflatable device that has a little nozzle that you inflate and you have to let the air out a bit as you sit on it to get to the right pressure for your own particular weight and the shape of your dumper. My initial feeling was that even a half an inch, when it comes to ones keister, is really noticeable. My second reaction was that it pushed me forward a bit in the riding position. The Triumph Sprint is a Sport Tourer, the sport part of which means the riding position is a little more aggressive than a cruiser or an adventure bike, therefore your back leans forward, weight more over the handlebars and as it relates to this review, it also means your family jewels are right up against the tank. So when I say that the seat cushion pushes you forward, I mean that the twig and berries, already under pressure, become quickly quite intimately involved with the tank, like if you had just met an Essex girl on the dance floor in Ibiza. So, I did not go on a long ride, just up to the shops, I am not sure this is a fair review at this point. It did seem like there was real value to be had in the comfort for the fart factory, although, the increased weight on the dickenbalz may negate that? I don't want to jump to conclusions because, given the riding position, the proximity to the tank will always make the old banana and plums go a little numb anyway, so maybe the new cushion will just accelerate the process and I won't notice my walrus faced man jubblies at all and will just be happy to have more comfort in the chocolate pantry? Perhaps, having less irritation in the captain's quarters will out weigh the potential irritation to Ricardo and the twins? Is it possible that I may enjoy increased vibration for my spunk nuggets and the reduced annoyance to Botty von Thunderhausen be just a side benefit? As I learn more I will reveal everything to you immediately. My biggest concern is whether or not this effect will make any difference in performance for Willly and The Bronads or Dr Sphincternstein? The good news is that the air hawk has some room for adjustment. It may be that if the numbness in my wedding tackle becomes unbearable, I can reach down between my legs and fiddle with it a bit. I hope I haven't pushed my point too hard but when it comes to taking care of my honey baked buns, I like to hammer it home. This, obviously, is no laughing matter, The true test is yet to come, it may not be as bad as first observed. If the worst comes to worst and the Airhawk causes too much irritation to my gentleman's sausage, I can always stop on the side of the road and pull it off. Also, COCK.

I did a lot of research in my hunt for the best seat cushion for my 2015 Road Glide. I like going on long distance trips and already tried having my seat custom re-done by a pretty well known company in North Carolina. It was way better than stock, but it still killed me after several hours. Although many products kept popping up in my research, the Airhawk was consistently in the top three recommended products so I gave it a shot. It was delivered on a Tuesday and on that Wednesday I set off for a work conference in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I came back Saturday after 1,127 miles with the Airhawk. On Thursday I took off again for the U.P. and put on another 1,083 miles. Here are my impressions: Is it better than just a stock seat? Yes, in my opinion it was much better than the stock seat even after being customized. Having said that, there is a definite learning curve. A lot of the videos and reviews mention that the most common mistake people make is over filling it. I decided to barely inflate it at all and then stopped every so often and made adjustments. Sometimes I would add more and sometimes I would let a little out until I found my personal sweet spot. Is it comfortable? Yes. At first it feels a little weird because you are sitting on a bunch of interconnected air bladders that sort of inflate and deflate depending on how you move. One thing I liked was that if I ever started feeling a little sore I could shift my weight around on the seat and things would get better. Is it the sore-butt killing magic bullet we've all been looking for? No, I wouldn't go that far. I was certainly more comfortable and I felt less discomfort than I did without it, but I think that no matter what cushion you use and no matter what seat you buy, sooner or later you're going to get sore. My first leg of my first Airhawk ride was just over 300 miles. Toward the end I certainly felt a little sore. However, I also noticed that my discomfort wasn't constantly on my mind like it was before the Airhawk. I would notice it, wiggle around a little and then get distracted and forget about it until I realized I was uncomfortable again. Does air flow through it like they say it does? No, I don't think so. The advertising says that air flows through the spaces between the various air bladders and through the mesh covering keeping you nice and dry and free of "swamp butt." I honestly don't see how anything could flow anywhere between those air bladders, especially when you are told to use very little air and then you sit on them and pretty much squish them all together to the point nothing flows anywhere, at least not that I could tell. Overall though, this didn't bother me too much and it wasn't a big selling point for me anyway. Is it easy to install? Yes, but the mounting straps are chintzy AF. they look a lot like women's bra shoulder straps and use the exact same fastening and tightening system as bras do. It doesn't move around or anything, but for $100 I feel like they could come up with something better, especially something with the fastening hardware under the seat instead of on the sides of the Airhawk. It would take someone exactly 15 seconds to detach it from your bike and run off with it. Would I recommend it? Yes, but only if you manage your expectations and realize that nothing will ever relieve you of all butt discomfort on a motorcycle seat 100%. You will eventually get uncomfortable on anything, even the plushest sofa seat, if you sit in it long enough. You also have to be patient if you go this route and you need to be willing to take the time to dial it in to your personal satisfaction. Overall I'm happy with it and think it performs as advertised. YMMV

I have a custom seat on my goldwing that always hurt my bottom after an hour or so, this air seat solved the problem. Can ride all day now

Been trying to do a lot more riding this year. Already have a Mustang Wide seat with backrest. Very expensive and comfortable. But because I am so tall I was always sitting far back and my tailbone would still kill me after a hour. Put this on the day it arrived. Fit the profile of the seat perfectly. Does not look too bad. After a couple of adjustment attempts I got it dialed in fairly well. Takes all the pressure off my lower back and was pleasantly surprised the room in the forward area which wasn’t bothering me but I can certainly tell a difference. Even on hot days it feels cool which is a big help on longer rides. It has more then doubled the time I can spend riding without feeling like I need a break. It also grips well to the real leather of the mustang seat and does not feel at all like it moves around while I shift my weight. For your average rider that doesn’t have thousands of Dollars to spent on trial and error seat comfort it is a great addition to any touring motorcycle.

Looks good, feels good, and easy to install. Would be nice if the straps were a little more adjustable though.. for my bike (1700 vulcan lt) the front strap could have been tighter to make it a little more secure and less likely to shift position. Still should be good though
