Great value...
Great product and value to boot! Perfect for my Toyotas, KIAs and Hyundai cars. Comes in three main colors, red, blue and green - all are identical and can work for cars/trucks/SUVs that meet the required coolants specifications.

OEM-Level Coolant Without the Dealership Price.... Works Like the Top Brands
I’ve used several “big name” coolants over the years, and I can confidently say the Zerex Asian Vehicle Blue 50/50 Antifreeze/Coolant is right up there—if not better—for vehicles that require this specific formula. The biggest advantage is the formulation. Unlike many universal coolants, this one is silicate and borate-free, which is exactly what most Asian manufacturers (Honda, Nissan, Toyota, etc.) recommend. That matters because it reduces long-term wear on water pumps and helps prevent scale buildup inside the cooling system—something cheaper or generic coolants can struggle with. Performance-wise, it checks every box: Excellent freeze protection down to around -34°F and boil-over protection up to ~265°F () Strong corrosion protection for aluminum and modern engine components () Pre-diluted 50/50 with deionized water, so there’s zero guesswork—just pour and go Where it really competes with leading brands is longevity and reliability. Zerex uses a Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) formula, which is the same type of advanced chemistry used in OEM factory fills. That means longer service life, better deposit control, and more consistent cooling performance over time compared to older or “universal” formulas. Compared to something like Prestone or Peak, this feels more vehicle-specific and precise, not a one-size-fits-all approach. That alone can make a big difference in maintaining engine health long-term. Also worth noting: it’s backed by a long-life protection guarantee (up to 5 years/150,000 miles), which puts it right in line with—or better than—most premium competitors (). Bottom line: If your car calls for blue coolant, this is a no-brainer. It’s OEM-style quality, easy to use, and gives you peace of mind that your cooling system is properly protected.

Quality coolant that worked perfectly in my Civic
I used this Zerex Asian Vehicle Blue coolant when servicing the cooling system on my Honda Civic Si and it worked exactly as expected. It’s pre-mixed and ready to use, which makes the job simple without having to worry about mixing ratios. The coolant pours easily and the color makes it easy to see during filling and bleeding. It’s designed for Asian vehicles and compatible with the factory coolant type, so it’s a good choice if you want something that matches what the system was designed to run. Pros • Ready to use with no mixing required • Correct type for many Asian vehicles • Easy to pour and identify during service • Trusted brand Cons • None so far Overall, this coolant worked perfectly for servicing my Civic Si and I’d use it again for future cooling system maintenance.

Reliable coolant for Asian vehicles
The Zerex Asian Vehicle Red 50/50 coolant has worked really well in my car. It’s truly ready to use, so topping off the system was quick and mess‑free. My engine runs at a stable temperature, and I like that it’s specifically formulated for Asian makes and free of silicates and borates, which gives some peace of mind about long‑term compatibility. The only downside is the price — it’s a bit higher than some generic options — but the quality and proper formulation make it worth it if you want to stick with the right type of coolant for your vehicle.

Great 'Solution' For Our Honda Pilot's Cooling System
Easy compatible replacement for the factory coolant in my Honda Pilot. Less than half the cost of Honda coolant in the free market, a third of the cost of Honda coolant at the local dealer parts counter. A very easy choice for the duty. Cooling system service is essential to the long life of engines these days. In many decades of maintaining cars, I've grown even more particular about using the correct coolant in cars, especially those with aluminum engines. This one gets along perfectly with the metallurgy in the Pilot cooling system. Do remember to drain the block, using the handy drain valve on the rear of the engine. Draining just at the radiator drain gets a little less than half of the total coolant charge out. Very Important to change it All.

Good stuff
This coolant has been keeping my Subaru vehicles operating at the right temperature. It’s all I’ll use at this point because it’s so widely available and is always priced well. Ships fast and arrives without any leaks too.

I purchased this for my Toyota RAV4 2017 which was running low on coolant and you can clearly see - it looks the same, works the same, has the same composition and ratings and specifications. You can compare my before and after filling photos. One thing to note here is that coolant level in the tank will change with a HOT vs COLD engine. This is the reason the coolant tank is called OVERFLOW tank. If checking on a COLD engine - the level is supposed to be LOW - at least for my car. It should not be below LOW for sure. If you check the same level in a HOT engine - it will be close to FULL. Mine was running low and my car is old but well maintained. After you fill, there will be some spillage during driving the first time - because the engine will get hot, and the level will rise in the tank - but there is an overflow tube right next to the filling cap - for exactly that reason - any extra will just spill over. The viscosity and color is exactly the same. I will only be purchasing this in the future. No upside to buying the branded one.
