BOSCH 9600 OE Fine Wire Double Iridium Spark Plug - Single

I researched these spark plugs quite a bit before I purchased them. I recommend this brand and this plug. The plugs I received were exactly what I ordered. They fit my 2006, high mileage Hyundai Tucson correctly. They were pre-gapped correctly and all four plugs in my package had the same gap (good quality control). No issues whatsoever. Immediately, I started to get better fuel economy. Around 15%-20%. That's not a great deal in dollars and cents, but it does indicate to me that they are an improvement over my old, worn out plugs. In the picture I have attached, you can see my old plugs and the new. The old ones are a different brand, but more importantly, they are single-iridium. I think the old plugs have about 40k - 60k miles on them. That means that only one of the two electrodes is long-lasting iridium. The other electrode on the plug may be copper, I don't know. But you can see that the old ones are worn and the bottom electrode is nearly gone. The new plugs, the Bosch-9600, has iridium on both electrodes, making the spark/arcing surface of the electrode highly durable. I expect that these will last 60k miles plus. Which might be more than my car will last. Good luck.

So far, I’ve found these to be a significant improvement over the Bosch Platinum +4 plugs. That may not be the case for every vehicle. I own a 1999 Tacoma V6, which I think is designed in a way that makes it a poor candidate for the 4 diode plugs. Either way, I got a small uptick in gas mileage from these plugs (I’ve been tracking my gas mileage since 2008. The improvement is about .5 miles per gallon. Not a lot, but enough to add up over the life of these spark plugs). I’ve had the iridium plugs in for about 5000 miles now, and the performance increase hasn’t dropped off. I anticipate that these will last longer than platinum plugs since iridium is harder.

I buy Bosch spark plugs since they are the official spark plug of Hendrick Motorsports, and if it's good enough to power that team to wins and championships, it's good enough for my cars. Great price and quick shipping from Amazon, they were a breeze to install on my wife's Scion XB, and they definitely improved on the power and fuel mileage. Not a HUGE difference, but I could tell. The fact that these iridium plugs last up to 100,000 miles is also a nice plus- you pay a little extra, but they will give you a boost in HP and gas mileage a while longer than your standard plugs. I'm happy I purchased them and will be purchasing more soon to replace the plugs in my truck.

Superior quality Bosch double Iridium tip spark plugs. Very long-lasting spark plugs to avoid engine misfires. Used in a 2005 Toyota Corolla. Best spark plug ever, highly recommended.

I BOUGHT THESE TO REPLACE PLATINUM PLUGS IN MY TRUCK. I WAS HOPING FOR A LITTLE BETTER MILEAGE AND PERFORMANCE... ITS HARD TO SAY ABOUT MILEAGE BUT SINCE MY TRUCK IS 11 YEARS OLD I WASN'T EXPECTING A WHOLE LOT. I DIDN'T LOSE ANY BUT IT DOESN'T SEEM I GAINED EITHER. PERFORMANCE WISE IT DID SEEM I GAINED A LITTLE BIT. THE THROTTLE DOES RESPOND FASTER THOUGH I DID NOTICE. ALL IN ALL NOT A BAD PURCHASE. JUST THE LIFE OF THESE PLUGS IS WORTH THE PRICE . THE THROTTLE AND LITTLE BIT OF POWER WAS NICE. I'D BUY EM AGAIN.

These plugs increased my fuel efficiency and made my car run better overall. They’re a great value and will last a very long time.

I bought this spark plugs 4 are made in China 8 made in Germany you try to be sneaky now I want to buy the same spark plug it says it don't fit my car kind of s*** is that I'm going to pull them out of my car send it back to them. I don't buy China crap

I recently ordered 4 double-iridium spark plugs. What I received were 3 new double-iridium spark plugs and one obviously used iridium spark plug. Not only did I not receive the SAME fourth spark plug but I also received a USED lower quality spark plug. Yes, the fourth plug fits but being a used, lower quality plug - how long will it last compared to the other three? VERY UNHAPPY
