UPDATE March 2021: I received the razor 10½ years ago through the Amazon Vine Review Program, and have replaced many of the heads and blades over the years. Not only does the ORIGINAL razor still work (even the battery is still working amazingly well after more than a decade!!!), but these blades/head work wonderfully. Every year or so when I replace them, I haven't realized just how much harder it is to get a good close shave after a year or so of wear - until I pop the replacement foil head and blades in and start shaving. MARVELOUS! If this razor ever does die, and they still make the same model, it's a automatic purchase for me. I've been shaving for over 60 years, usually with an electric razor, and this is by far the best razor I've ever used (and I've had a lot over all that time. I'm truly amazed, to be quite honest. NOTHING lasts 10+ years anymore, yet this razor and even its batter are still doing just fine. And the foil/blades last somewhat over a year (I think they recommend replacement about every 18 months, but I don't remember for sure - I've got a very heavy and thick beard, so I'm not at all unhappy with these lasting over a year each.) Panasonic has hit a grand slam with this razor and the replacement blades. And no, I own no Panasonic stock, and no one I know works for them as far as I know. This was a free product over a decade ago thanks to the Amazon Vine program, and I'm just an exceptionally grateful recipient because of both the job it's done as well as the service it's provided, including these normal replacement parts. And I've even used it in the shower many times - great (as advertised)! ----Following is my original review---- When this started out as a $300 shaver, I simply could not recommend it at that price (I didn't have to pay for it, but would not have if I'd been purchasing it). It's since come down in price, and at current prices, I'd replace mine in a moment with another of the same model. So when I got these replacement parts, I was immediately reminded what I liked so much about the razor itself - this replacement blade/foil combination made it a "new" razor all over again. This is the 3rd set of blades and foil I've gotten for this razor. With a heavy beard, I think a full year or more per set is quite adequate, before replacement becomes necessary. In nearly 50 years of shaving, I've never had as close or comfortable a shave as I've had with this shaver, including after replacing previous blade/foil combinations. As long as they make this razor and the blades/foil to go with it, I will have no need to even try out another razor - it's that good.

Bought this Panasonic razor for $250 from Brookstone over five years ago and love it. However, it recently stopped performing like it used to and I thought I was going to be out a few hundred dollars for a new electric razor. I went on Panasonic's website to look for replacement parts and they were very expensive, I hopped on over to Amazon and was excited to find that I could get new razor blades and the foil for less than the foil was going for directly from Panasonic. I have replaced the foil a few times over the years buying the replacement part directly from Panasonic. I never thought to look on Amazon! The foil only lasts a year or two before the blades eat through the mesh (probably because I don't clean the blades as often as I should). This was the first time I've replaced the razor blades though. After replacing the blades and the foil the razor works like new! Closest electric shave I've been able to achieve in years. It's awesome. The razor will now last at least another three years. Well worth the $40, I just wish I realized Amazon had this product years ago.

Not real happy with this refill. It seems less sharp than others I've bought but just as expensive. It's almost worth just buying a new shaver every year. The sound of these blades is different. Tinny and cheap sounding. They don't shave as closely as others I've had.

I've got an older Panasonic LA63 shaver and it got to the point where I found myself going over and over and over the same place when shaving to get the whiskers as low as possible. A new shaver like mine costs quite a bit - far more than just replacing the foil and cutter blades, so I ordered this set. This is genuine Panasonic, not a knockoff where you cross your fingers if it will work well. The off-brands aren't all that much cheaper anyhow so the price of this genuine item is justifiable. I don't know why cutter blades and foils are sold in anything but complete sets - you need to replace both to get the best results and that is what you get in this kit. My Panasonic is shaving like brand new again and I am very satisfied that I decided to just 'overhaul' my old Panasonic. I highly recommend this product for your Panasonic shaver.

Fits perfectly as it’s an OEM item The price was great and will buy again. Panasonic is good company and i trust their products. I get a year and half use from them and have replaced a few time so far. You could last longer but they will wear out and you get a rough shave. Will buy again

If you’re thinking to yourself, “Is this replacement really worth the money?” The answer is, yes. It’s an incredibly smooth shave, good for shaving your head too!

They are good quality and can last many months between replacings. The price creep is annoying but at least the are still available I personally replace the inner blades and outer foil at the same time And I try to retain the same blade orientation throughout the blade lifecycle. It is important to keep the blades as clean as is reasonably easy to do.

Delivery was a bit slow but worth the wait. Great replacement blade and foils.

Perfect replacement set for the Panasonic ES-LA93-K. Very easy to install, and the razor is cutting nice and close again.
