Amazing Towel for Everywhere You Go
Perfect travel towel. I owned an Outlier grid linen towel for a couple of years ($75) and this is better and cheaper. First off the size is just right. It wraps around your waist or torso easily with enough room to tuck it in. There's also enough substance to the towel to soak up water without being overly bulky. I hate thick cotton towels because they take forever to dry. And travel micro fiber towels (PackTowel) feel terrible on the skin and eventually smell terrible (no matter how much anti-odor treatment they put on it). This towel is super easy to hand wash—plug the sink, add water, and a little soap. Wash. To wring out just fold it in half, roll it up, and wring it. It air dries really fast. Linen is by far the best towel material. And this is the best one for the money. I use it at home, at the beach, or wherever I go.

An excellent towel for drying hair!!
I originally bought this for a trip, but that trip has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. I initially considered sending back this towel, but it smelled and looked very nice, and was very well presented, so I decided to keep it and try it out for when (if?) the world ever returns to normal. I gave it a 5/ for absorbency. I had shoulder length dreadlocks and have been using this towel to dry my hair after washing at least twice a week since I got it. My hair actually dries the same day now, rather than into the next day, since using this towel! For travelling and lightweight I gave them both a 5/5. I haven't taken it out on any trips because of shelter in place orders, however it DOES pack really small and it air dries really quickly for me here in Colorado. Once it air dries I fold it down and save it for my next hair wash. It could fit into a quart sized ziploc baggie for travel for sure. I've been using this towel exclusively on my hair. Haven't used it for body drying. I'm one of those girls that NEEDS two towels to try off with and have a separate velour towel I've been testing out that I'd also bought for travel. I'm considering downsizing my home towel collection since I've been using my two towels. So that's saying something! I highly recommend this towel, at least as a hair drying travel towel. If they made a bath sheet sized one I'd definitely buy it based on how this one performs.

It gets better and better with use!
Originally I purchased it to have a way of keeping cool while camping on hot nights (soak it in water and use it as a sheet). Decided to try using it as a regular household towel and while it was rough in the beginning, it felt good despite being a little roughshod. Amazingly, the fibers have continued to soften up with use and laundering. It's now cotton-soft and continues to absorb incredibly well. Am constantly surprised at how well it air dries without that soggy feeling that cotton has as it dries. It works amazingly well on my long, thick hair and is unlike any other towel I have previously used.

30% smaller than advertised
It is advertised as 30" x 60" but out of the box it is approximately 28" x 57". After the first wash, performed as indicated by the tag, it was found to measure 24" x 52". By calculation, you will be able to use about 30% less towel than is advertised. It has a natural color, mild exfoliant texture and is very lightweight (read thin). I expect it to be more absorbent and faster drying than it's synthetic microfiber or cotton counterpart as per the other reviews and therefore, best suited to traveling. Another bonus is that it is made in Lithuania. Short term update: It is absorbent enough but not as much as I expected. For the price, I expected better performance or at least a larger towel. Overall, I'd only recommend this towel if you prioritize natural fibers over synthetic, are interested in experimenting with more exotic materials than cotton and prefer to support non-Chinese businesses. Long term update: It's is just enough towel for traveling. It is compact for easy packing and carrying plus absorbs and dries out more quickly than cotton towels. I now enjoy the exfoliant texture and sand doesn't get picked up too bad with it. Changing from 3 stars to 4. I would give it 5 stars if it was the size as advertised. I would recommend to a friend.

BEST TOWELS EVER
I loathe "soft, fluffy towels" for drying myself. Because they never dry, they smear. These towels DRY you off and are DRY and ready to go another round in about an hour. I live in a humid part of the US and having towels that stay damp even in the AC is a pain: - they start smelling weird, - use too much energy in the dryer, - are never ready if you need more than one shower day (because you've been in a pool / you were gardening / you exercised / you had to wash the dog). These towels are NOT your great-grandma's "scratchy linen towels" at all - not fluffy, but soft enough and thirsty as all get-out. You hang them up sodden and literally an hour later are DRY. They also take up much less room in the linen closet. They are not cheap, but they will last. And every day is a spa day.

Fast drying but not luxurious
These are fast drying towels which is a real plus in the southern states. However, I have not found that they get much softer after multiple washings and I find them thin and not very luxurious feeling.

No regrets
I am satisfied with it. Bought another one for my wife. It is not the cheapest towel, but I like the waffle weave. Obviously it is not silky smooth as it is linen. But it is very nice linen. And it has a loop in the middle for hanging (huge bonus). My old towel did not have this feature and kept falling off the hook (which was one of the reasons it got replaced)

Really disappointed in this towel
I have been having a very hard time with towels that shed a lot of fuzz or lint and have tried a number of towels to hopefully find one without the issue. (The extra fuzz that ends up all over my body irritates my skin and the fuzz left floating in the air irritates my lungs.) I thought switching to a linen towel would solve that problem, and I was really surprised that it didn't. Before I washed the towel after I received it, I put against my chest and there was gray fuzz all over my shirt. After washing and drying, just as much fuzz everywhere. I used it this morning and I had a layer of fuzz on my skin afterward, and not in the best places (my private areas) to the point where I had to wipe myself down with a damp cloth and air dry. So I basically spent $30+ on a towel that has the same problem as the cheap ones I've tried. I pay for laundry in my apartment so washing it over and over and over to get rid of the fuzz is not practical. I'm very frustrated. I will say that the towel is light and absorbent, and dries quickly which is nice. I also like that it's a bit rough so it feels like I'm getting extra exfoliation.
