Weeks ago I ordered a Roborock Q5+, and I knew that running it inside my dad room was not possible due to a 2”+ high threshold. I tried just lifting the robot and due a manual clean but this cause the vac to get lost when I returned it to the living room, it take more than 5 minutes to return to Dock/charger station. since I want it to be fully independent I started looking for a simple way to add a ramp to the room. I found DIY paperboard ramps (fragile and ugly), DIY wood ramps (not for me, I’m not Bob Vila 🤓) and some ramps recommended for robovacs (no high enough) finally I found this one, it is really too much for my needs (2200lb capacity!) but certainly it do the job. Duct tape: the ramp is on perfect condition but my dumb smart robot droop sensor see (or detect) the black rubber as a threshold, I run the bot over the ramp using manual control and if you avoid the corners it go over the center without a problem. I tried running it in auto mode again but this time, I put two sheets of paper on top of the ramp, this solves the problem. The duct tape if just the permanent solution for the sensor problem. This ramp is really of great quality I may order two more, one for the generator storage room, the other for the lawnmower tractor parking spot. Highly recommend

Worked well for front door entrance way. Husband uses a walker. Easily rolls up and down ramp. Took a little time to get used to incline/decline. Some may need longer incline/decline distance. Only drawback is the rubber smell that gets stronger during the summer months.

This is the ramp to get. The beveled edges ensure that walkers & wheelchairs, dollies & the like don't turn over if & when they go off the side. These are sturdy & easy to clean & fit around door molding to assure a tight fit.
