Good book but bit expensive
The content of the book is good. But the cover of it were broken and torn apart. The rental fee is a bit high.

Taught courses using this excellent book.
This is a great book. I have taught courses and NIU and UC Berkeley extension using this book and I have used it as a statistician at a major bank. Its great. Very good real world examples. I really wasn't a statistician until I used this book to teach. Highly recommended. Michael Quigley

Condition
The spine is broken and book pages are not being held into the cover. Also corners of book cover (hardback) are damaged badly. This item was definitely not in "very good" condition.

No Answer Key
Rented the book for class. Great book, but it does not contain the answer key for any of the problems, it must be purchased separately. Luckily, my school had a copy of the appendix D with the solutions.

The textbook came ripped
The textbook came half ripped and the cover is coming off.

Lots reading But puts you at par.

The book is an unsealed behemoth, and does not include the Nelson Cengage access codes to be able to use the WebAssign features. Be prepared to spend another $75 for that. Some forewarning of have to pay for that would have been beneficial in the product description, and would have lead me to purchase the book & code bundle from the U bookstore at what now turns out to be considerable savings.
