Tops SSS-02 Street Scapel 2

This is a much lighter version compared to the original whose blade was much thicker. The handle contour allows for a stable and safe grip, the blade is very sharp and has good edge retention. The knife has a slim and discrete profile. The sheath is laid out for horizontal carry be it appendix, or small of back carry. For me it is unobtrusive, and comfortable in the SOB location and the handle is a bit out of proportion for me to carry in appendix carry. I think it is perfect for trail running, and can handle most of the little snags and hang ups that one may run across, and would most certainly be a valuable tool in an emergency. I only wish it had a “glass breaker” as the point is a bit thin.

Badass knife , small and easy to conceal. Built like a tank with tops quality and razor sharp.

This thing’s awesome. Very unique and after some research the steel isn’t bad quality either. The blade could’ve been about a half inch longer to offset the length of the handle, but it’s still a great size. I went ahead and altered the grips to give it a carved feel. Nothing wrong with the smoother grips it comes with though.

Street scalpel is perfect for concealed carry

This is my first fixed blade EDC knife and my first TOPS knife. The fit and finish gives it the appearance of a custom piece. Little things, like the red handle liners set it apart from most production knives. It's a small knife that can be used to open boxes or for self defense. And last but not least...the secure design makes it feels good in my hand!

Love TOPS have been following them for decade this was my first knife and after receiving it I ordered two other tops blades hands down some of the most durable knives I have seen the coating is great the thickness just right the handles are molded to your mits I have large hands being 6.2 and this is the best little buddy for good grip jobs. Scalpel sharp out the box and rusts the lest of all my other brands. Can’t tell it’s in ur pocket.

Fantastic edc fixed blade. Comes with scout straps i wear it horizontal on the belt in the back. It is light, doesn’t print when wearing, is comfortable to wear even when sitting, sharp, handle is great in hand and the micarta scales are fantastic.

Habe das Messer seit einigen Jahren auf der Wunschliste und manchmal taucht es sporadisch auf Amazon zum kaufen auf. Da ich in der Laune war mir etwas zu gönnen habe ich das Street Scalpel 2 für ca 135€ gekauft. Das Messer hat allein beim auspacken einen derartig hochwertigen Eindruck gemacht dass ich direkt hin und weg war. Im Auslieferungszustand ist das Messer schon gut scharf auch wenn ein Schnitttest über den Handybildschirm etwas blöd zum aufnehmen ist. Durch die Roten Liner unter dem dunklen Micarta sticht sowohl das Micarta als auch das Messer an sich nochmal hervor. Die Pfeife die dabei ist, dient als Visitenkarte und kann genau wie die Lederriemen, die zur Befestigung am Gürtel dienen , entfernt werden. Das Messer liegt richtig schön in der Hand und die schwarze Pulverbeschichtung macht einiges her. Tops Knives hat mich Qualitativ so stark überzeugt dass ich mir ein paar Tage später direkt das Street Spike nachbestellt habe. Als Sammler mit so ca. 50 Messern ist dieses ganz weit oben dabei und ich kann nur jedem Messerliebhaber empfehlen mal Tops Knives selber zu erfahren
