Fantastic, genuinely one of the most reliable and nourishing options out there for our family. The neutral taste and light texture mean they work brilliantly in everything, and being certified gluten free is absolutely essential for our vegan diet. I use them in my home made cereal and feel the benefits right through to lunchtime; I just wish they offered a bulk box option for us environmentally conscious dads, but overall, they are great value for everyday tasks.

Best quinoa flakes for porridge

I'm sure these would be a 5 star product for people with fewer allergies than myself - a friend who I've passed them on to is enjoying them. Sadly, when purchasing this product I was unable to check the "can contain traces of..." section and therefore didn't know that they can be contaminated by some things I'm severely allergic to, until they arrived and I checked the box. Still, this is not a criticism of the product itself; I'm sure these quinoa flakes are great!

I use this as an alternative to oats. Cooks up nicely. Taste can be made sweet or savoury. Great gluten free option. Cooks up quickly.

Not the sellers fault but just not to my taste. Can be used like breadcrumbs but so far I'm not into the taste. Struggled with quinoa as was be was exploring healthy alternatives.

These quinoa flakes are very good value and very good quality. These flakes are usually £6 a box at Ocado, but here you can get three for the price of two. The flakes come within in a plastic bag. All you need to do is pour a little into a pan with your choice of milk (mine is almond milk) and heat for a couple of minutes until the porridge begins to thicken. You could also do this in the microwave, but I think a pan is easiest as it starts to cook so quickly. I don't think you need to wash these prior to cooking. I never do and they taste delicious.

A coeliac & also can’t eat oats & this is a great alternative to mix up my breakfasts. Have mine with non dairy milk, takes 2 mins. I have mine topped with chopped apple cooked in a little water, with a wee bit of butter added to apples once they are barely soft, a pinch of cinnamon & salt & a dash of maple syrup. Absolutely scrummy & fills me up for hours & no tummy issues - result! I imagine having the cooked flakes with nothing added, would leave them a little bland - but so many options to add things.

Usually good but found two small dried black items in it, looked like dead moths. Hope they can improve the quality as used to be great
