This laptop cooling pad is the second one that I’ve purchased from this brand and seller, and I returned to this brand for a reason. My first one (the multi-colored fan light version that is also available from this same seller) worked beautifully for over four years, which is impressive compared to other fans I’ve tried (that barely lasted a year). That kind of reliability matters when you work long hours like I do. I’m self-employed and often on my laptop all day long. My laptop computer runs hot enough to fry an egg (or at least make your skin very red and uncomfortable), and in Carolina heat, that’s the last thing anyone needs. This cooling pad does the job. It has six individual fans — three large and three smaller ones spaced perfectly to cool the entire base of my laptop. You can choose to run just the three large fans, the three smaller ones, or all six at once, depending on how much cooling power you need. The dual on/off dials on the back make it easy to control. The fans are quiet, steady, and well-built. The whole unit feels solid. I’ve traveled around the globe with my previous model (it travels well) and I have dropped it more times than I care to admit. No matter how hard I (accidentally) tried, it still held up. This cooling fan feels just as durable and actually feels like it may be more powerful than the last one (which only had five fans). Though I admit that I forgot that I could adjust the fan buttons on the old model too, so I may not have had it on full power since I have not intentionally changed them since I first started using the last one (4+ years ago). Pros: powerful cooling, adjustable settings, quiet operation, and great durability. It is excellent quality for the price. It has little pop up prop arms (I don’t know what they are called) that you can use to prop your laptop up a little bit for added space/improved airflow. Cons: none so far. Overall, this cooling pad earns a strong ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me. It’s dependable, effective, and a must-have if your laptop tends to run hot or overheat.

I've had mine for about a year and it was developing some rattling issues, so I decided to pry up the metal tabs on the bottom and pop the mesh screen off, only to find that it was pretty well clogged with my cats' hair. So it was definitely doing an awesome job at pulling air and cooling my computer. After spending about 3 minutes blasting the dirt and debris out of the inside of the cooling pad, I plugged it back in, turned it on... and no more rattling noise. The slide resistance really depends on how good the feet are on the bottom of the laptop, however my laptops are new enough that I have no issues with keeping them on the cooling pad. The feet of the cooling pad, on the other hand, offer very little slippage, despite being made of foam. I've been enjoying the analog fan speed controls, which allow me to dial in the exact speed and fan configuration I need, instead of settling for presets that provide either too much or not enough airflow. This makes the pad perfect for use with any laptop I set on it. Having two different angles for typing on laptops is a nice convenience, and the blue LEDs that accent the fans let you know that the unit is on, but they're not blindingly bright. Overall, it's one of the nicer budget-friendly cooling pads I've purchased. I had a similar model years ago, but it didn't survive even six months. This one, however, is still going strong one year later, but like any air-cooled device, it's best if cleaned regularly.

Le falta algún interruptor o botón para apagarlo directamente sin tener que girar las rueda de atrás o desenchufarlo. Cumple muy bien su función, los ventiladores están casi justo donde está el sistema de refrigeración, lo he tenido que mover un poco hacia abajo para poder dejar bien ubicada la ventilación.

My 16inch laptop fits nicely and it is a lot quieter than my old one. I also like that it is a lot lighter than my old one as well and fits in my laptop case easier with the laptop. I have a high power gaming laptop that can get hot whilst playing and this has done a better job of keeping it cool as the fans are better place than the old one I had. Only had it a couple of days but I would say that it is doing the job I bought it for and doing it well. You also have a choice of how many fans you have running. J'ai un ordinateur portable de jeu haute puissance qui peut chauffer pendant que je joue et celui-ci a fait un meilleur travail pour le garder au frais car les ventilateurs sont mieux placés que l'ancien que j'avais. Je ne l'ai que depuis quelques jours, mais je dirais qu'il fait le travail pour lequel je l'ai acheté et le fait bien. Vous avez également le choix du nombre de ventilateurs que vous faites fonctionner.

I was wary when I bought this as previous experience has shown me that both build quality and noise can be a potential issue. My review is also based on the pretty cheap price for these types of units..... The overall build quality and design of this is very good, it does not seem flimsy. Take a look at the photos I posted and you will see that there are two heights of legs provided to allow two different heights that the unit will stand from the rear. The fans are set in "two banks" the smaller three switch on, with their blue light, and have a very small rotation setting range, to be on full. The larger bank of three do the same. If the fans are switched off, either or both banks, then that is the only time the LED lights are off. As my router was placed on top of the unit then the lights did not bother me, they can hardly be seen. There are two small retention legs that can be popped up on the front of the unit to stop your laptop / tablet / router etc from sliding down if that applies. If you are very sensitive to noise these are Noctua type fans for a PC, the yare NOT silent type. Equally the price of some fans for a PC can be more than the full cost of this unit. So context has to be formed. It is not silent and you will be aware of the noise, and I am quite sensitive to noise and do find it irritating in the background. However the noise of this unit I would suggest is acceptable, especially for how effective it is and the for what it costs. Overall I do recommend this unit, it is very effective and during this heat we are having it has cooled the chipset of my router from 85c to 58c. It no longer feels very hot to the touch. Having just the larger three fans on is quieter and effective, but then you have the choice of having the smaller bank of three as well. The smaller bank seem to have a little more noise than the larger. I hope that this review has helped you.
