Still working perfectly after "Eight" years
Wonderful outdoor lights. Very sensitive sensors and bright lighting. Purchased eight in February 2017. Still working perfectly December 2025. Pretty impressive.

Adjusted to 5-star ... with a caveat
INITIAL REVIEW: I bought a 4-pak after reading all the glowing reviews from people who “received these promotional items for unbiased reviews” (yeah, sure). I tested them by leaving them in full sunshine for an entire day and turning them on with the supplied pin. I tested these in my darkened basement. To aid in testing, I numbered each individual unit as 1 through 4. Right away, #1 and #2 were the standout students, detecting motion flawlessly and stayed lit for 30 secs each occasion. #3 appeared to be DOA (unresponsive with the pin poke). #4 detected motion but only stayed lit for 5 seconds before going dark. After an hour, I decided to perform the test again. #1 worked well every other time. #2 decided to quit working altogether. #3 that was DOA before, all of a sudden came to life, detecting motion but stayed lit for 60 sec each time. #4 only detected motion if I was 12 inches away from it and only stayed lit for 5 seconds. My conclusion: these lights are total garbage and buying them is like rolling dice. Don’t do it. I’m returning them to Amazon. What a waste of my time!!! UPDATE 6/1/2016: I have to give credit where credit is due to Coco-Vision. After my initial negative review, Coco-Vision proactively sought me out and offered to send me a whole new 4-pack of these lights, guaranteed to work. I received the replacement lights promptly and proceeded to test them the same way I did with my original lights. This time around, all 4 lights worked perfectly. Each one sensed motion at about 10ft away and stayed lit for approximately 30 sec … over and over. They passed my test with flying colors and are mounted around my house right now. So I have adjusted my rating from 1 star to 5 star … with a caveat. The caveat is that these replacement lights were hand-picked for me by Coco-Vision. So, I recommend that you buy these lights but do test them rigorously and contact Coco-Vision if there’s any problem. Coco-Vision seems to be a legitimate company who is aware of its online reputation here at Amazon and are responsive to the customers.

I wish I would've bought more!
They're very bright. I use two of them near my front door so that delivery drivers and visitors can see the porch more easily. I only got a pack of 4... wish I would've gotten a pack of 8. They were super easy to install. It only took me a few minutes to hang them up. The only thing I think would make them better is they should have the option to have warm lighting. I don't really care much for the halogen/cool light. They could also have some different lighting settings like: Setting 1 - they stay on Setting 2 - they stay on at a low light setting, then get bright when motion is detected. Setting 3 - they stay off, until motion is detected. Nevertheless, if you're looking for some reliable solar outdoor lights, I recommend them.

More technical Review.
I just got my box of 4 of these lights. I gave them a 4 star review so that my review would stand out from all the 5's or the few 1 start reviews. Mine have the name MPOW on them. Model: MSL3f but they are the same as these lights. I got them at a store that sells lost shipping items.. I wish they had more than the one box now that I have read all the reviews and taken the light apart to look inside. Inside is a 3.7 v LIPO 600 mAh battery. I am currently charging one of my batteries on a LIPO charger. I have quite a bit of RC toy experience using LIPO batteries. I instructions say that if the units are not charged for 3 months they may not work. It says the units may need 3 days of full Sunshine before you should turn them on using the poker in the hole. I measured two batteries at 3.7v which is on the low side for a 1 cell lipo. 4.2v is full. AT 3.7 v the unit tested to work ok in a dark bathroom. There is a circuit board inside and I am sure it was designed properly and has a feature to shut its self off when the lipo is around 3.6 v or so. This is because If LIPO batteries are discharged much lower than this they will be damaged permanently. The back cover has a gasket on the top 3 sides of what looks like a well designed gasket groove. This means the unit is best mounted upright. This bottom open seal design is nice that it allows it to breath which is not a bad idea. The only thing I would change is to have a switch so that the lights are off unless motion activated. I would like to use 2 units to light a stairway off my deck but to not have light polution when I am not using the stairs. I wanted to say that I have not tested how much ambient light it takes to shut off the light function. This may be an issue for some of you who are having trouble with your lights not working. IT may be a competing porch light or even another solar light or a streetlight that is making the solar light think it is still daytime. So test you units first in a dark bathroom. if it wont work then charge it for 3 days in the sun and try it again. One more thing to note is I have a QC passed sticker covering the lower key hole mounting hole? I guess I will just remove this sticker so I can sue 2 screws, installing the bottom one first in the Wall and then marking the hole for the top screw after sliding the unit on the keyhole slot. . or I mount only using the top screw or sticky tape. I see that xmpow dot com has a new model that they say is upgraded to 800mAh battery, larger LED's. better solar panel, has three modes of operation, and a more sensitive PIR for 26' instead of 20' range?? Medel MSL5-PTX-1 This may help solve battery life issues for us Northern climate people. Back to the unit at hand. So this 600 mAh battery was very hungry it gobbled up 75% of its capacity. That means it was very low but still worked. My charger put in 476 mAh out of 600 capacity. I was excited to see if there was a difference. I just tested and couldn't tell any difference in brightness. so I guess as long as the battery is above a limit it can provide the needed current. The light sensor is actually the solar cell its self.. so evidently when the board measures a certain voltage on the cell it shuts down. This is my guess as for sure light on the surface of the solar panel is what shuts off the light.. and there are only two wires from the solar cell to the board.

These lights are working perfectly for my needs, and exceeded my expectations. I love that the light is bright, but does not stay on too long.

The quality of the lights was so poor that I had to return them immediately

I purchased these lights for my back yard fence. I installed them in August. It is now January and they are still working really well even on winter days when we do not see the sun. They are very bright. The only switch I made was using stainless steel screws instead of the screws supplied with the lights in the hopes to keep rust away.

It doesn't have motion sensor as mentioned in the product description. They refunded the money.
