Good Quality, not quite strong enough for my use
This is one of the three exercisers in the set I bought. The set is 3 different strengths. 1.5 lbs, 3 lbs, and 5 lbs. I bought these for my son to strengthen is fingers for playing the violin. I already had a 9 lb model, which was much to strong for him. The 1.5 lb and 3 lb are useless for us. He can easily completely compress them with very little effort. I'd say if you are using them for rehab, or have very weak hand strength they would be good. My son is 11 and the 5 lb model was the best as a starting point. I ended up getting the 5 lb and 7lb in addition to the 9 lb I already had. Obviously it's going to be different for each person, but I thought the lower models were just too easy to make them useful. The quality of the product is good, it also comes with an instruction sheet that shows different ways to use it depending on what you want to accomplish.

Helpful tool for rehabilitating hand strength after wrist surgery.
I purchased the Red 3 lb. resistance Digiflex first and used it for a couple of months. Today I received my Green 5 lb. Digiflex and tested it. I found it to be a good step up. I didn't notice much change in resistance; however it feels like enough of a change to provide a challenge which is what is appropriate now. It's a good addition to whatever else you may be using for rehabiiitation such as hand putty and compression bandages.

A productive therapeutic tool
I love this product because it's exactly what I use during my physical therapy appointments. The strength is appropriate, and the mechanics of the product are sturdy and hold up to my increasing ability to use the muscles it is designed to strengthen.

mostly good, helped with my tendinitis - try powdered graphite lubricant for button smoothness
I started using these hand exercisers about 3 weeks ago hoping to reduce pain in my wrist due to tendinitis/pre-carpal tunnel syndrome. I've been using this and other finger exercisers every other day and it has made a noticeable improvement. I have less constant aching in my wrist, which is great because I've been dealing with this problem for over 10 years! My only complaint with this product is that the shafts for the finger buttons start to get less smooth after I'd used it for less than a month. If the pressure on the buttons is not completely straight down, then it would seem to meet resistance going in, making it less smooth to push down, especially on the buttons on the ends. I tried putting some powder graphite lubricant on the shafts and so far it seems to have fixed the problem. Very helpful
Recommended by my physical therapist. I love that it’s available in different strengths. I really love that it included suggested exercises. You can exercise all fingers at once, or one at a time.

Great product just not for me.
I recently underwent hand surgery and it's been a painful process regaining mobility in my hand and this product for me and my level of recovery is a bit difficult to use - this does not reflect the product itself. At the moment I have limited mobility with my left had and putting my hand in a fist is difficult and painful - as of now it's extremely hard to push down on this flex hand system - if you are like me I suggest first purchasing the yellow system and work your way up to this one.
