At the beginning of Covid 19 I didn't wish to go the the New York Sports Club that I usually worked out in. I bought myself a weight bench and three dumbbell sets of three different weights. Around September I started developing a pretty sharp pain in my right wrist. I did a little research and found out that wrists and elbows take a lot of the stress of weightlifting and are prone to stress. I was doing pretty well working out in my apartment. I had a good routine that I stuck to. I was getting some nice results and was pleased that I was still working out. However my right wrist was getting worse. If I opened up a cabinet, or car door the wrong way it was painful. I was worried that I would have to give up lifting weights due to this ache in my wrist. I certainly didn't want to exasperate the situation or further injure myself. Then I found these Hustle Athletic wrist wraps. They are quite simple, velcro, nylon webbing and a loop for your thumb to go through. When I first got these wraps I thought "how can these possibly help???" Well they did!!! What they basically do is give your wrist that extra support that you don't have on your own. That small amount of extra support is all that I needed to continue to work out. I was ecstatic that I could work out and the pain was definitely lessened. Then after a few months I barely had any pain at all. In a way these wraps kind of stopped that dull ache and wrist pain is almost completely gone. I am still very careful with my wrists and I have been working out at home since last March. I never used to use wrist supports when I would lift, however as I've slowly added more weight to my reps I've had a lot of wrist pain thats become more intolerable as of late. I have very scrawny forearms so I bought the smallest size they offered and fit me like a charm, still even have room to tighten even more if I wanted to.
