ASUS - Casque gamer ROG THETA 7.1 noir

This is an incredible piece of audio hardware when used the right way, I have been tinkering with the audio suite software for this headset on pc and it is very deep and detailed on what audio tuning you can do, the most incredible thing is, this headset is also compatible with the Dolby access app on PC and even using Dolby Atmos which switch's to stereo 3D surround it still sounds incredible which I have compared to my wireless Razer Nari in Dolby Atmos mode, this headset no matter if you use it in true 7.1 mode and tweek audio settings and even have multiple profiles or if you use it in Dolby Atmos stereo 3D surround, they both sound awesome, but let me be clear there is soo much more value in this headset if your going to use it on PC, I myself have not tested it on PS4 or mobile as I believe with the amount of money you are spending on this headset it does a disservice to it's full potential and capabilities when it comes to sound, I was quite surprised how good this headset sounded in Dolby Atmos mode with movie profile for games and Netflix on PC compared to true 7.1, either way it is a great product compared to the razer Nari which I think is also a very good wireless PC light Dolby Atmos headset, sadly my only 2 issues with this headset is weight and price, the weight I can deal with and your head gets used to the weight over multiple uses taking into account the amount of circuitry in each ear cup which is closed back big ear cups and one very small vent on the outer section of each cup, as for price compared to how much wireless headsets cost and being as this headset is wired and weighty, I think a suitable price point for this headset should of been in the £150-£200 price range, I was lucky to get this headset on Amazon for £229 but for the current asking price jumping between £250-£300 I would of liked bluetooth 5.0 support with APTX HD codec support as well being as how large this headset is a Bluetooth component would of been easy to implement to make this headset truly universal.

The Asus ROG Theta 7.1 USB-C Gaming Headset with 7.1 Surround Sound, AI Noise-Cancelling microphone are simply the best headset I have ever owned. Yes the price is a little steep, but you have to pay for quality these days. They are comfortable to wear for hours of use, and the cable is long enough so you can have some movement with them.

Short Review: Overpriced, lack of features. Poor software performance. Deal breaking stability issues. Honestly feels like a rushed product without proper testing. Long Review: There is only one good thing i can say about this headset, the microphone is quite good. unfortunately that's not enough for a good headset. Sound quality isn't great. I had cheaper true 5.1 headsets that sounded better than these. Its almost impossible to differentiate between side and rear channels. Performance issues. ROG Armory crate is poorly optimized, poorly coded and power hungry. But the thing that was a deal breaker for me, was the stability issues i experienced with them. If you go AFK for a while i had an issue where either the headset went in to sleep mode or it clashed with my ROG monitor when it went to sleep. When this happens audio becomes muffled to a point where you cant understand it, the microphone also is affected by it and messes the outgoing audio. The only fix i found for this is to disconnect and reconnect the headset. And just as with any headset, disconnecting and reconnecting breaks all audio in most applications(inc games and discord). Meaning you end up having to restart everything, surely I don't need to explain why this is extremely annoying. Within the one and a half weaks that i used them, this happened 5 times. All of that with lack of simplest of features like: - retractable/flip microphone.

This headset is of an extremely high standard and looks and feels great. But even though overall quality is better than you're mainstream headliners. The headset lacked just slightly in sound quality. Apart from the bass drivers, all other speakers within the headset were substandard and it really stood out as its directional for gameplay was exceptional. I'm not saying these are bad because there really very good, but for the price and the hype I expected alot better.

I bought used item, but is like new, with all accessories. Product was described with out cushions ( come with 2 pair). Worth money which i was spend on it, positive recommendations

Brilliant product. Matches all my other ROG gear plus the sound quality is superb. The box they come is, as always ROG standards and I will keeping it just in case. The headset comes with replacement ear sponges and a USB C extension cable. I'm going to have a good play to tune these bad boys in for Flight Sim and COD. Highly recommend.

This is amazing I have all the headsets with true 7.1 from Asus and different company's and this one is by far the best and it got better after few firmware updates by ASUS now it bench all my other headsets not even close and because I use VoiceAttack on all my games this mic just makes VoiceAttack in arma3 or DCS world like talking to a human not an AI because I no longer have to talk loud and robotic for VoiceAttack to understand me it even bench my MOD MiC because of background sound blocking when using VoiceAttack my wife can be hoovering and voiceAttack just works the same can't be said for MOD MIC

Best of luck if you want to use these for 7.1 surround sound because it does not work on most applications. Unfortunately, it has a USB Type C connection as it requires power from your device, so if you want to connect it to a sound card then forget it as it will not work, even if you manage to find an adaptor. I have been through all settings on my pc and for music, it will only play stereo. For this extortionate price, I would stay well away from these and choose one with a normal 3.5 connector.

J'ai retourner le site pour voir les différent casque disponible de la gamme et malgré certains commentaires (surement de personne ne sachant le règle correctement) je me suis quand même décider à prendre celui-ci et ne le regrette pas du tout. Le son est parfait la connectivité est fluide et se synchronise parfaitement avec tout l'équipement Asus Aura.

sono cuffie stupende, le uniche true surround che abbia trovato, inoltre di un marchio che sa quel che fa, i led sono belli ma non molesti, il suono è perfetto, forse i bassi non i migliori mai sentiti, ma sono davvero potenti e hanno 4 driver per orecchio, la qualità del microfono è ottima, e sono molto versatili, il packaging stupendo come per tutti i prodotti rog, consigliatissime!

I also like that the wires go directly into the base of each earphone rather than using a cross over. The sound quality is very high - better than my previous analogue 7.1 headset

WARNING: only buy this if u have extra money to spend. or invest on better headsets ! pros: FPS gaming ONLY cons: lack of bass. not loud enough. gets glitchy swapping 7.1 and stereo. installation is frustrating at first. FPS & movies: 4stars. Music & everything els: 2 stars •• Why? •• FPS: if u r buying this only for FPS games then go for it! u can pinpoint and know where ur enemy is. but not exactly. sometimes u couldn't tell becaust's not loud enough while fighting other people. Movies: not loud enough to enjoy but overall sounds good. u can hear everything and stuff u couldn't hear before. due to the multiple speakers having different sounds to produce. Music and Everything els: is just bad. its not loud enough and definitely no Bass ! the important question is: Am i happy with the product? no. but i kept it because i have other headsets to enjoy. but if im planning to make it my only headset? i would definitely return it !

Neredeyse her akşam ve haftasonları komple oynadıktan sonra istek üzerine fikirkerimi belirtmek istiyorum. Öncelikle Rekabetçi vs oynuyorum ama hiç bir iddam yok orta seviye bir oyuncuyum. Ortalama bir aim'im var. Kulaklığı almaya karar verirken tüm yorumları okudum. Genel olarak ses kalitesinin ve mikrofonunun bu kulaklığa yakışmayan kalitede olmasından bahsediliyordu. Fakat benim ihitiyacım rekabetçide rakibin tam olarak nereden geldiğini algılama ihtiyacıydı. Kulaklık bu iş için özel tasarlanmış ve benimde ihtiyacım tam olarak bu olduğundan yorumlardaki eksilere aldırmadan almaya karar verdim. Mevcut bulunan HyperX Cloud II de bu özelliği pek beğenmiyordum. Özellikle arkadan gelen kimseleri hiç ama hiç algılayamıyordum. Apex den önce Warzone da oynadım ve bu oyunda da Cloud II yi bu anlamda çok zayıf buluyordum. Kulaklık elime ilk geçtiğinde Apex Legends oynuyordum. Oyunda yaklaşık 600 saatim var en büyük şikayetim sağdan soldan gelen rakibin yerini nokta atışı tespit edememekti. Kulaklığı ve yazılımı olan Armory Create'i kurdum cihaz takılıyken armory create asus rog theta diye cihazı tanıyor ve ayarlarına gelebiliyorsunuz. İlk fark ettiğim ses kalitesinin biraz Korsan film izler gibi sesleri değiştirip biraz farklılaştırmasıydı. Ses güzel baslı geliyor ama değişik geliyor. Windows ayarlarından 7.1 i kapatıp cihazı stereo haline getirince kulaklık normal ses verebiliyor ama 7.1 olarak ayarlayınca ses bir farklı geliyor. Mesela şöyle bir gariplik var Apex de silah sesleri o kadar değişiyor ki rakip hangi silahla sıkıyorsa sesinden anlardım ama anlayamamaya başladım. Bir süre sonra takibi kulaklarım bu duruma alıştı. Büyük ihtimal insanlar en çok bundan şikayet ediyordur. İlk etapta Apex battle royale oynayarak testler yaptım. Açıkçası rakibin yerini daha net algılıyordum ama yüzde 15-20 gibi bir oranda iyileşme oldu diyebilirim. Arkadan gelenleri bi tık daha net algılayabiliyordum. Yukarı aşağı katlarda olanları da biraz daha iyi algıladım ama unutmamak gerek cihazının aşağı yukarı için sürücüsü yok ama ileri geri sağ sol sürücüleri var ama yukarı aşağıyı da sanal olarak ürettiğini düşünüyorum. Cloud II den daha iyi bu konularda ama ses kalitesinde 7.1 de o kadar iyi değil. Ama umrumda da değil bu durum. Ayrıca herkesin belirttiği ses yüksekliği son seviyesi tam benim default kulağımın kaldırdığı ses olduğundan bu durumdan da bir şikayetim yok ama kimsine bu ses yetmiyormuş. Bence yeterli ne az geliyor ne beyninizi patlatıyor. Battle Royale'de KDR 0.8 ve açıkçası oyunuma hiç katkısı olmadı. Adamı tespit etsem bile sürekli ölmeye devam. Kulaklık beklediğim etkiyi yaratmadı biraz da hayal kırıklığına uğradım. Ses kasmak çünkü bu işin bir parçası ama en önemli parçası değil. Aimim fena da değil. 25 saat aim training yaptım hep orta sıralarda çıkıyor değerleri leş bir eğim sahibi değilim. Takım oyunu ve game sense işin büyük kısmı bence battle royale de. Neyse sonra Apex'e arena modu geldi ve Burada da test ettim daha iyi sonuçlar aldım. Çünkü Arena'da daha fazla yakın mesafe kapışma oluyor ve daha çok kulaklıktan faydalanıyordum. KDM 1.1 idi. Battle royale göre daha iyiydim. Ama yine kulaklık beklediğim kadar iyi değil yüzde yüz tespit edemiyorum derken daha detaya inmeye karar verdim. Kulaklığın yazılımı Armory Create'de hangi sürücüden ses geldiğini gösteren çubuklar var. Fark ettim ki apex de arkanızdan gelen sesi eşit oran da ön sürücülerden de veriyor. Yani arkanızda bomba patlıyor 1 birim arka sürücüler çalışıyorsa 1.5 birin ön sürücüler çalışıyor. Bu da tam algılayamama tam verim alamama durumunu yaratıyor. Bunun oyunla alakalı olduğunu düşünmeye başladım: Kulaklığın bir suçu yok yani. Kulaklığın sürücülerinden ne kadar ses geleceğini ayarlayabiliyoruz. Ben de arka ve yanlardan yüzde yüz ses gelsin ön sürücülerden yüzde 50 ses gelsin diye bir deneme yaptım. Böyle yapınca sizin kurşun atmanız ve karşıdan gelen rakibin sesi kısık iken yan ve arkadan sıkan veya adım atanları daha net duyuyorsunuz. Ama biraz da tuhaf ve rahatsız edici bir durum ama rekabetçi düşününce katlanıyorsunuz. Rakibin önden geleni zaten görüyorum ben ateş ederken arkadan geleni duymaya devam etmek sadece bu kulaklıkta başarılabilecek bir durum. Ve bu şekilde 1 hafta boyunca komple oynadım KD olanım 1.35 e yükseldi. Ama Dev bir fark olmadı. Ses kasmak herşey değil bu oyunlarda bu yüzden bu kulaklığı çok parası olan ve rekabetçide yaratabileceği ufacık bir fark önemli olan kişilere öneririm. Ardından Apex Legends'ı silip Paladins'i kurdum. O da bilmeyen için yaziyim Overwatch'ın ücretsiz alternatifi diye düşünebiliriz. Tek oyuna saplanmiyim sırayla bir çok oyuna bakiyim mentaliyesindeyim. Bu oyunda fark ettim ki arkadan gelen sağdan geleni çok daha net duyuyorum. Rakibin ayak ve atak sesi takım arkadaşımızdan daha fazla geldiğinden zaten algılıyorsunuz yakında düşman olduğunu ama sağ arkamda mı sol önümde mi Apex Legends'a kıyasla çok ama çok net algılıyordum. Bu nokta'da kulaklık cidden baya mutlu etti beni oyundan aldığım keyif çok arttı hatta stereo basit kulaklık taktım ve kimse nereden geliyor duyamayınca kulklığın farkını algıladım iyice. Keşke Cloud II bağlayıp bu oyunda Theta ile arasındaki farka bakabilseydim. Ama kaldırdım kulaklığı Theta varken. Fakat şundan hala emin değilim. Verticality konusunda kulaklık başarılı mı bilemiyorum. Paladins te verticality çok az. Apex de bu konuda kulaklığa not vermek için doğru oyun değil. Ama şunu da belirteyim. Theta, Paladins te de beni uçurmadı. Tank karakteri seçiyorum arkamda medic'i doğruyorlar geri koşuyorum kurtaramadan ölmüş oluyor. Göbekte hedef ele geçirmeye geri koşuyorum Medic olmadığımdan hemen ölüyorum. Başarıma fark etmiyor ama aldığım keyifi arttırıyor. Yani max yüzde 30 daha iyi ses kasarsınız ve biraz daha KD'niz artar hepsi bu diye düşünüyorum. Üzülecek bir durum yok eğer alamıyorsınız.
