Fits very well, and rubbery enough to protect it. It's 100% not just hard crackable plastic! Has a good grip, and looks very good! Good price for a good product! Only thing I wish is it had a prop stand built into it! Get it if you need one! I'm out!

Poetic is my absolute favorite case manufacturer. I have two Google Pixel Slates and I own one of these cases for each. Unmatched in grip power. I have some nerve issues and drop things more often than I would like and that tablet cost way too much to be dropping it. Poetic cases really take a beating, I have had many of them. This sucker is industrial quality compared to most of what's out there. I wish Poetic would make more cases out of this material - it's perfection and I would love to have one for my current phone. I had one for the old LG Stylo 4 a couple years ago but they don't make one like it for my current Moto G 5G so I have the Poetic Guardian on there instead.

Super protective, I don't think it blocks any of the buttons or ports or speaker holes (And if it does, it's rubber, cut a hole. Rubber is actually pretty thick, I was impressed.

This works perfectly for my Google tablet. I like the indent in the rubber around the outside perimeter; my fingers fit in it perfectly which allows me to hold it much better (I have tiny hands). Plus the rubber itself has a good grip. It fits my tablet well, but it's not a lock-tight fit like others have said. It is pretty flexible... but that shouldn't matter unless you're really careless with it. Also, since there's not a lot of options for this tablet, I use a small table easel as a stand which works PERFECTLY!!!

This is literally the only case I have found for the pixel slate. Its actually great. People complain about the camera cutout being offset. But I never use the camera and it seems to have plenty of space to work. It does smell when new. I soaked it in soapy dish soap and that helped. I've had it about a month and it doesn't smell anymore. It's pretty sturdy for the type material. My wife liked it so much she bought one for her iPad.

Very slippery wobbly silicone. Could easy come off if grabbed on edge. Good for other cheap tablets for a kid but not for slate. Which they had a thinner, stronger tpu option

This is a great case for a tablet, let alone for one as expensive as a Slate. Pros: It's a softer silicone as opposed to a stiffer TPU so it's extremely easy to put on and take off, but fits so snuggly you won't worry about it coming off unintentionally. It adds a nice grip that feels good to hold. Barring any kind of hand problems, this thing won't be slipping from your grasp. I has a nice screen facing ridge or bump that will keep the screen off of surfaces if you decide to set it facedown. This is a feature I feel a ton of cases are lacking. The sound is unaffected by such a bulky case. I love this because the Slate has a pretty great speaker solution for a tablet and this isn't hindered at all. Cons: Being soft silicone means it has a lot of "give". It's squishy. I'm not 100% assured my Slate won't still break if I drop it. But with how large this tablet is, I don't feel any case short of the box it came in would protect it from a fall. Thankfully, the grip from the Pros means I'm not as likely to drop it. It's pretty heavy. It adds about half the weight of the Slate. But it wasn't a light tablet to begin with, so unless you hold your tablet up directly in front of your face instead of looking down at it, it's not a huge issue. The power button/fingerprint reader cut out is a little small. It's understandable because it's right next to a corner and making it bigger would make it less protective there, but it does require a little more finesse to scan your print. Mehs: It has "heat venting" ridges throughout. I never had an issue with the tablet heating up too much so this wasn't really a selling point. But cases sometimes increase heat so I guess not overheating with this new case is nice? Still, it's a meh feature for me. Verdict: All in all, the Pros vastly outweigh to Cons for me and this feels like a must have case if you have a Google Slate and mainly use it as a tablet. I don't use it with the keyboard (wobbly Google Slate keyboard that is sold separately) often and you can't with this case at it completely covers the POGO pins. It works with a bluetooth keyboard, but it doesn't have a kick stand. So if you use it as a tablet and not as a laptop solution, you can't go wrong with this case.

Good fit but expect to increase thickness of your tablet quite a lot. Overall very happy, especially that you cannot buy any decent covers for this tablet, apart from keyboard ones.

Been waiting for a decent cover to be made available for the Pixel Slate as the keyboard cover really does make the whole thing a little too cumbersome for everyday use. This cover fits the bill perfectly and without adding too much to either the dimensions or weight of the tablet (contrary to the 1* review below!). It feels good in the hands and definitely makes the tablet easier and safer to handle and again contrary to the 1* review all the necessary holes etc are in exactly the right place! Thanks POETIC !

got to say this case is spot on ,very lightweight not bulky at all unlike what some people have said.It's perfect.It is made to protect ,if I was picky I would have liked it a bit more bulky.But its fine. As for the person who said the cut out on the front for the camera, saying its off center, there's two Len's there side by side its not off center at all .Think he needs to review his own review, one isn't as noticeable as the other. Perfect.... One thing it almost black very dark blue.Not like the photo.I actually thought the slate was black,but very bark blue. Front camera: Duo Cam optimized for video calling: 8MP, ƒ/1.9 aperture, 1.4um pixel size, wide field of view, 1080p video at 30fps. Rear Camera: 8MP, ƒ/1.8 aperture, 1.12um pixel size, Auto Focus, 1080p video at 30fps.... Hope this helps people's decision...

Very pleased. Feels nice for when you want to use your slate more in tablet mode than with a keyboard. I'd say the only thing missing is a case with a handle option like those on my kids iPads and the Kindle fire. I bought my slate with the expectation that it will be handed down to my kids in a couple years and a good case will hopefully help that happen
