Zestful Foods Dried Shiitake Mushroom, Medium Size, 3-4 cm, 8 Oz.

I've moved and can't do as much fresh intentional grocery shopping as I used to. I tried these and love them. Whenever I need some good umami flavor from shiitakes, I reconstitute some of these and makes a great substitute that can always be on hand. I used the broth that results as well - hardly any dirt particles (what dried porcini I often have to spending some time rinsing and filtering; not with these.)

I just purchased these in June, and this morning I noticed that the whole bag is crawling with small ants! I had stored the opened bag in another closed plastic bag, so these ants had to be in the mushrooms themselves. I have never had this happen before with any other products. Won't purchase again.

Soak in hot water for a couple hours, slice, return to water for at least another hour. Quite good will not be disappointed.

Have not used this product yet, but it looks good, arrived in good time, and I expect them to be as good as they look. Will comment more later.

I had my doubts but the product came through as described and works well in my Asian dishes especially hot And sour soup.

These appeared to be a great value. I used once and placed in a ziplock bag. When I opened the bag to use again, hundreds of "mites" were crawling all over my counter. Needless to say, I had to throw 3/4 of the bag away. I have never had this happen with dried mushrooms in the past. I will not purchase from this vendor again

These took forever to get here, but they look great. I can't wait to make hot and sour soup!
