Bought this for scoring cardboard boxes. I originally purchased a carton resizer, which may work great on large boxes but didn’t work for me. I ordered this tool along with quilting rulers and it has made making boxes for shipping so much easier. Works very well on thinner cardboard, can sometimes cause tearing on thicker corrugated cardboard if you use too much pressure or score the wrong side. But overall it works perfectly for my needs.

This tool works great to resize boxes for shipping. Good price. Great product.

For folks like me who are just getting into sewing clothes, it's good to know the proper way to use one of these doohickeys. I did figure it out on my own. I don't believe that the plastic ones are built the same way. But I believe that this one will hold up better to the test of time. It seems well made. It has a wooden handle with a metal shank and rotary blade. It does go by several different names. But is the same thing. I would buy it again.

I bought this tool for me to use resizing Boxes for shipping products. I've used it a few times now and it works perfectly. It cuts deep with little effort, and enables me to save money with shipping smaller boxes if needed.

I am using this wheel to perforate 2 sheets of heavyweight project paper (not card stock) for raffle tickets, and it does a really nice job. I do have to use a surface with little depressed lines (troughs), like a wood paper cutter with lines. It doesn't cut well on just a hard flat surface. If I make a mistake and have to go over it a second time, it's actually easy to find the first set of perforations and continue the cut from there.

Had to press really hard to perforate my wedding invites. Could use a more comfortable hand grip.
