Bought for my son who just graduated from uni with a film production degree. This is his favourite director, and he’s also learning Korean, so he was really pleased.

A fascinating look at the (often overlooked and unappreciated) Storyboarding process, and how you can better construct visual narrative in film and moving image media through their production and use. This version is the English language translation, so the Directors notes are also legible alongside the artwork.

Really interesting to see how Bong Joon-ho storyboarded the film as storyboards are not usually released

Love the film but slightly disappointed with the quality of this book. Still worth it to see director Bong's storyboard visions.

The storyboards of Bong are very nice. The packing isn’t. The flimsy cardboard envelope is not something to pack a 1 kg book into it. If you want to ship it safely.

I would like to start this review by saying that I am not much of a book collector or reader. I consider myself a major Cinephile who lives for Film. ‘Parasite’ was not only my favorite film of 2019, But one of my favorite films of all time. So instantly when I heard that Bong himself was releasing his storyboards in novel form I instantly pre ordered! And oh boy was it worth the wait. Having this beautiful bold and detailed book about of the best film ever made just brought so much joy to me. I have always been a fan of Bong and to finally have something like this is so important to have by any fan of His or film in general. This story board novel brings out a lot of detail that you can convey yourself that you may have not noticed before watching the film itself. As well as an important foreword piece written by Bong himself to the reader. What also came as a surprise is the book has Photo reels from the film itself as well as layout drawings of Important and certain Set pieces of the film. Again , This is a beautiful book that you can get so much out of after watching the Masterpiece that is ‘Parasite’.

Il libro-storyboard di Parasite è fantastico: sfogliarlo è come entrare nella mente di Bong Joon-ho. Vedere il processo di ogni scena, dalle inquadrature ai dettagli visivi, è utilissimo e davvero affascinante per chi ama il cinema e vuole capire come lavora un grande regista.

Great product, it's a beautiful Book and very interesting if you are a fan of the film. I bought it as a gift and it was delivered to me quickly and undamaged.
