Good tripod at a reasonable price
I have been a Gitzo user for 25 years. Have had 5 of them over the years. But the ridiculous cost had me looking for alternatives. I decided to try this out. First, the legs go way up. Higher than my eye level (I'm 6') without the center column extended. The leg locks work well, though you'll notice that you have to do a little more than a quarter turn, but I got used to that fast. It is very light. My old Gitzo 3way head is heavier than the legs! The diameter of the legs is very nice. Very stable and dampens vibration. The construction looks pretty good. Probably not as high of quality as Gitzo. We'll see how many years or abuse it can take. But, at less than half the price, if it lasts 5 years of Pro use, I'm still ahead of the game. NOTE: the tripod that I got came with a lot of extras in the box. The tripod legs were in a light draw string bag that was in a heavy duty carrying bag (that is too small to fit a decent size head, so that's not of use to me). There are tools and replacement feet with spikes. And most unexpectently, it comes with both a long and short column. I bought the short column at the same time and was chagrined to see that it already came with the tripod. Had to return it and loose $6 on the deal for return shipping. Overall, a good tripod at a reasonable price.

Best Carbon Fiber Tripod for the Money
If you want to spend a $1000.00 on a carbon fiber tripod go somewhere else. If you want to buy one the best carbon fiber tripods on the market for the value than look no further. I was hesitant when I first looked into this company because there aren't many reviews on YouTube (which is how I determine what gear I want to buy, before buying it). This is a fantastic tripod and from the moment I pulled it out of the box until now (one year later)....it might be my absolute favorite piece of gear. It's lightweight, strong, comes with a tool kit, spiked feet, rubber feet, long column, short column, weight hook, carry case...what more could you want? I have accidentally cracked mine on the pavement and on my truck (still mad about that) and while it has a scrape here and there it still works perfectly. So long as Induro keeps making tripods of this quality/price. I will never buy tripod from anywhere else. Period.

High quality, great value.
After a lot of research as well as experience, I ordered the CLT103 carbon fiber to be my travel/hiking tripod. My first travel tripod was a Gitzo many years ago and it is worn out now, too heavy, and not sturdy enough for my long exposure landscape photography. A few years ago I purchased an Induro alloy tripod that I am very pleased with. The Induro brand is very well made, easy to use and solid. Before I received this tripod, I had a few qualms because a lightweight tripod just does not stand a chance of being as rock solid as a heavier one. I, however, have gotten older and I cannot carry as much weight as I used to. My camera equipment for hiking is not all that heavy (Canon 6D and F4L 70-200 IS, F4L 16-35 IS, etc.) so I ordered the CLT103. The tripod is just stunning in its quality. Very light, clever in engineering, impressively presented with the tripod bag and tools inside the case. And it is suitably solid for lightweight equipment which is exactly what I hoped for. This Induro tripod is the best value for the money of anything I have purchased in many many years. I'm impressed with it.

Would buy a Leophoto Ranger carbon Fiber tripod over the Induro CLT103
I have been looking for a tripod for quite sometime. I did alot of research and the Induro CLT103 has come up as a great tripod in many reviews. I decided to buy it it, since I found a refurbished one through VL Camera. It was very sturdy. The height was decent, you don't need to stoop. But the deal breaker for me was when I opened up the leg and found the plastic shim in the leglock. I was surprised to see this on such an expensive tripod. I feel the one piece metal design on a Leophoto ranger tripod in this same price point is a better deal. So don't make the same mistake as I did and assume this would be metal or at least a one-piece design. Ask questions first. VL Camera worked with me to sort out my return and are a wonderful company to work with.

Fantastic Tripod!
This is the initial review of the purchased Induro Tripod. I was in the market for new tripod after using a Promaster XC325C for several years and based on my research and a recommendation from a good friend, I selected the CLT304L. This tripod is quite sturdy and provides good height (I'm 6'3) for stable compositions in either landscape or vertical shooting. I'm very impressed with the construction, durability, and ease of operation of this tripod; the only takeaway,it can be a little heavy to carry on hikes but, it well worth the money spent.

Excellent Tripod for the Money
I bought this tripod to have something sturdier than my Manfrotto aluminum one for shooting landscapes and such. I like the twist clamps, it's a nice weight being carbon fiber, and it's very well made from what I can tell. It was recommended in a B&H Photo article so I figured I couldn't wrong trying one. Got it a couple of months ago. Very happy with it so far. Only thing I wish were different is I wish it had retractable spike feet rather than the screw-in type. Would be much more convenient to deal with, but it's not a big deal. Still a real nice tripod.

Loose Parts
I was looking forward to making my next tripod an Induro and the time came. Overall this is a well thought out tripod; level, short center pole included, padded legs. BUT within a week it had lost 2 feet (noticed at the same time otherwise I may have saved one). Contacted Induro and they sent a link to a video warning that feet and legs (!) can fall off so keep in a bag or upside down when out. They also told me where to buy more feet. My confidence that this will hold up under use very well, rather disappointing.

Checks all the boxes
I purchased the Induro CLT004 Carbon Fiber Tripod in 2017. I have several great things say about it. As a landscape photographer, I sometimes like to stand in streams or over other waterways. I am 5'9". The height of this tripod has allowed me to extend the legs of the tripod and still stand on rocks or other elevated structures and not have to bend over much if at all. It is not a compact tripod but you could stow it in a duffel bag with other things for travel. I use the shorter center column because I never extend them. The short column allows me to lower the tripod head to less than 8 inches off the ground. I disassemble it and and clean to salt water and sand, then lubricate the threads after trips and it still operates smoothly. The only problem that I have form time to time is the connection from the frame to the leg, needed to be tightened a couple of times. Since a replaced the lock washer, it is fine. I would recommend the product.
