Car remote starter
I'm a little late right in a review on this, but it works real. Good definitely we'll buy it again. I haven't on 3 vehicles right now Over one year from the initial installation.Definitely we'll buy again

Chirp Chirp!!!
Super happy with the Compustar CS925S. It starts my car from a great distance (easily 1000+ feet), even in cold weather. The install was smooth with a pro, and the remotes are simple and work every time. Totally worth it for the price — makes life way more convenient!

Good & Economical
Works well without all of the bells and whistles of more expensive starters. We don't get 100% functionality from the key fob functions, though.

No installation documentation.
Received the product and there is no installation manual or guide. It showed up with a quick user guide and a card with a qr code to download the insallation manual. The qr code takes you to Firstech which just gives you a link to request access. After giving all of your information (it wont let you continue without it including tax id number which i just put all 9's) it sends you a message saying that your request has been sent. The product is identified as a cm900s so i did a web search for the manual which I found online by Firstech. I have not installed it yet and Im already thinking of just returning it.

Awesome
Huge improvement over the older compustar units. No tach needed auto sensing voltage and preprogrammed remotes. Love it.

Absolutely love this kit
So nice having the auto sense ability so there’s no tack wire to hook up for remote start👍. However the anti-grind feature isn’t working on mine but I can hear an engine running so not a big deal

Great system.
Installed on a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. Works great. Nothing to dislike.

Will work with any car. I recommend taking it to a shop that specializes in remote starter installs to save yourself the time and headache. Remote start itself works 17 floors up as seen in video. As long as you can see your car from where you are (I have a camera in my driveway), a 2 way starter isn't necessary but would be a little more convenient. But for the price of this one way being sold on Amazon you will save money. The shop that I had taken my car to get it installed, sold the exact same product for $100 more in store. Also note some cars will need a Blade AI to pass some immobilizer in the key 11/10 would recommend a auto starter if you live in cold climate area, nothing beats getting into your car and having warm air blowing around while it's -25 outside

Doesn't match the description, not happy, not worth it

By the time you buy it then buy the adapter box and the bs involved in bypassing your key fob to reprogram the new key fob bla bla bla. It cost more than the five to six hundred a car stereo shop will charge you.

It installed fairly straight forward, thought i needed an additional Blade-Al kit ($80-100) and a ADS-USB to program that. So this starter, and those additional parts needed put the cost closer to $300. Still cheaper than getting one installed I guess. I suggest googling and YouTubing your make/model or similar vehicle type and watching videos first. There’s literally no instructions (one diagram showing what all the 30-40? Wires mean) and it’s up to you to kind of figure out what goes where in your car. I think I actually wired up 10-12 wires and 15-20 or more were just wrapped up and left unused. Took me maybe 3 hours but half the battle was pulling the ones from the tight looms in the dash, or splicing into them carefully, soldering and covering them. It wasn’t 3 difficult hours or tons of work. My car was 6 bolts to remove to access the area needed. Additional* your old fob and your new command start remote probably aren’t gonna jive together. If one thinks it’s locked (the fob electronically locked it) and the key, or other fob unlock it, the one that electronically thought it was locked sometimes thinks your car is being broken into, so horns and honks ensue. The odd time opening my drivers door, or closing the trunk also tripped the alarm . It’s 100% based on if the locks are open manually, electronically, or with one of the old fob or nee starter. Hope that makes sense. My Original car 15yrs back did similar. TLDR; use just the command starter remote to lock and unlock it
