Clip & Carry Kydex Multitool Sheath for LEATHERMAN Wave & Wave + Plus - Made in USA - Multi Tool Sheath Holder Cover Belt Pocket Holster - Multi-Tool not Included

I have had many kydex holsters for my handguns and when holstered, they make a very distinctive "click" sound that let's you know they're secure. This holster does not have that. I don't know if it's just because it's a leatherman holster and the tool doesn't have the right grooves to latch onto or if it's a cheaper made product but I miss the sound. Secondly, obviously I know it's not real carbon fiber and it's just a print or a wrap on the kydex, but using this sheath for less than a week and the finish has already chipped and scratched off in two places. Which isn't really a huge deal, it doesn't effect the usage at all but it's a little aggravating for it to happen after less than a week of work with it. I also had to use the file of my leatherman to smooth the top edge of the belt clip because the sharp edge was cutting my hip. The tension and ride height adjustability of kydex holsters and sheaths is a great bonus. Plus, it seems to be more durable than leather or molle. (Though it is a bit more expensive) Pros: Durable Highly adjustable Tool specific (So you know you get a perfect fit) Cons: A bit on the expensive side for a multi-tool sheath Finish wears away easily QA seems to be lacking due to the sharp clip edge. Overall I am happy with the sheath and so far it's been a solid way to carry my leatherman every day. If it holds up for 5+ years, I'll say it was worth the cost. If not, I'd be better off getting another cheap leather one from Amazon for $12 that lasts a couple years. -1/2 star for having to modify the clip myself and -1/2 star for the finish wearing away so fast. Solid 4 star product, would recommend. Edit 01/01/2026: holster has held up great since previous review, I used it literally every day for the last 3 years and I have no complaints, I did have to tighten the tension once or twice, no big deal for me. I got the Wave Alpha for Christmas and I'll be buying another Clip & Carry holster for it. I'll also be getting another for my wife's Leatherman Raptor shears. Great product back up to 5 stars due to long term durability.

Fits perfect and it well made wear it everyday!

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this or not - was using a pancake style leather sheath which is really nice because it keeps the tool really close to you and therefor very little movement when running for instance. This sheath looks cool, seems very well built and is comfortable. It can slide around a bit on the belt. The kydex can rub against a wall and pick up paint marks on it. I really really like the retention fit. The tool feels like it clips into the sheath which is very cool. It always stays open to put the tool back in, which is something leather doesn't always do. Made in America :). This fits my Wave +, but my original Wave is loose in this case. *UPDATE* I ended up busing the clip off by getting into too tight a spot and pushing myself down breaking the clip. I inquired with the company via their website if I could obtain a new clip and they happily sent me a new clip free of charge. So i'm using this case again for my Wave+. Love it.

Great item, multi tool fits perfectly and snug!

Been wearing it about 2 weeks, which in itself is an accomplishment for me. Frees up my right pocket for a dedicated self defense blade or a larger work knife. I was worried about the tool coming out and loosing it, but so far theres no indication that will happen. I was hoping that for the price, this was going to be more 'vacuum formed' around the tool and offer a nice positive click like you get with inserting a pistol in a custom Kydex holster, but no such luck. Just tension. With the bottom being closed, you at least eliminate the possibility of something unknowingly pushing your tool out of the holster. I move around a lot at work and so far nothing has gotten loose and I haven't had anything fall out. A QUALITY vacuum formed holster with a positive 'click' would be a nice upgrade. Update - well this was short lived. Went right back to carrying my Leatherman wave with the belt clip in my pocket after like a month. Carrying something extra in my pocket got old quickly - since I felt like I'm just carrying dead weight around. Also - I like being able to just quickly feel my pocket and know the Leatherman is there. I have tried several times to replace my Wave with just a knife, or carry something else in addition to to the wave, ECT .. Ive finally come to the conclusion (again) that keeping a Wave in my right front pocket is just irreplaceable.

The build quality, look, and feel of this Kydex sheath are great. It holds the Leatherman perfectly. The belt clip makes it easy to remove. I think it’s a great value for money over a fabric holster due to its durability.

I have been using leather sheathes for my Leatherman for over decades and the one problem is that the sheathes by Leatherman fall apart so I went to an Asian artisan and that has worked for a number of years but, like all leather products it degraded with time. THIS sheath is simply stellar in that it holds the multi-tool so tightly that it will eliminate the tool dropping to the ground AND IT IS AMERICAN MADE! You will not be sorry with THIS purchase!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my fiance and the bolt came out of it that helps hold the side together.

It works well and holds the tool well now, but required some rework with a hot air gun to get it to fit properly. If you find it too tight or loose, some quick work with a hot air gun will see it fitting much better.
