Automatic X4 Upright Vacuum Cleaner

My last Sebo X4 lasted 30 years. I could have gotten it repaired but bought a new one instead. Superior quality product with top performance on carpet and hard surfaces. If you are ready to stop buying disposable vacuums, this is for you. Low profile, automatic height adjustment, and simple design.

I bought a SEBO robot it was a ridiculous waste of money as soon as it came out of the box I was so excited when I plugged it in it was super loud. I need to throw this in the dump like it was like such a waste of money. The people told me that I like a 11 year 10 year warranty that’s like a complete lie lie lie I hate this robot is the most. pair it’s the worst robot that I’ve ever had ever you know I don’t even know what’s wrong with the robot. If you’re having problems like this, I called the manufacturer. They didn’t do anything about it. I was about to sue them. I was gonna go to cibo.com. They didn’t have anything to do. I went to the Cibo store. They didn’t have anything to do. They went to the seaboat website. They didn’t have anything to do. I went to Lowe’s. They didn’t have anything. They didn’t have a Cibo either. I was so angry at them, but no, not low Cibo Cibo needs to get trashed sued and for whatever reason they need to get dumped down.

Sick of nasty bagless vacuums. I bought to use in a tiled sunroom with a lot of tracked debris and heavy water hog door mats. However it excels on my hardwood floors and a couple of medium ish pile very nice area rugs. Let’s focus on points not generally addressed. 1. My attachments from a 12 yo SEBO are still exactly useful, including a soft floor brush and extender tube. 2. You can buy an extra length of hose which is quick attach and now the hose on an upright vac is long enough to be useful which I can’t say for hose on my Dyson, or the Shark I bought for a family member. You can use it on the stairs. 3. The dirt path is completely and easily cleanable. Ever disassemble a Dyson cordless to clean the head?? Say goodby Saturday o do that. Sebo hose can be soaked in soapy water, rollers slide out the side-no tools.. Yes, sometimes something damp or gross gets sucked up. Next thing you know your vac is gross. 4. The Brush roller pops out the side, no tools. You can get an alternate soft green roller for delicate rugs or attach the soft brush and an extender to the hose and use it like a canister though that would annoy me. 5. Love that hose extender plus the small head for doing stairs or crevice tool on board for door tracks or a quick swipe under furniture. 6. The hose is super easy and quick to pull in and put back, unlike struggling with the handle on my other machines. Or the clips on my Dyson V11 to swap out attachments. Geesh. 7. Weight. It’s heavy ish. I’d say that about anything over 5 lbs. But it stays upright. The Dyson V11 is actually really heavy to support with an injured wrist and shoulder problem. The clips on that sucker are fussy and often it’s a struggle to pull off/on accessories. 8. Steering is an 8 out of 10. Just good enough. Glides over carpet so not a big deal. Not super wide. Not the best around chair legs. But frankly on hard floors I use the dust mop to do that—Talk about Fast and Light Steering. Low tech solution. 9. The automatic height adjustment works. Do a 2 second pause, tilt. No bending over. 10. Not getting stuff kicked around on tile floor, including cat litter, leaves, pine needles. Fluff comes off the water hog mats. 11. Good baseboard edges and ninety degree corners as in kitchen. Whip out that hose ( super quick!) for real stragglers. 12. Bags hold a lot, don’t have to bend over to change. Good filter replaceable with a carbon filter 13. If I had a super dense wool rug, wouldn’t use this but then most vacuums choke. Does not like throw rugs and you can’t turn down the suction. Does well on grabby entry rugs, a wool/silk rug and a family room med shag. So why am I buying this overpriced thing when I have “good vacuums?” Cuz my canister Sebo runs like a champ after 13 years, cuz the Dysons just irritate me with their choking out on medium pile carpet and miss stuff on water hog door mats and their weight. Yes both Dysons are heavier and my wrist hurts. Cuz the Dysons can’t be easily cleaned, Cuz I dropped a canister of crud trying to empty it. Cuz the x4 can be expanded with attachments to get stuff done. Cuz I clean a lot, using a vac or dust mop a least daily or more! to keep up with animal hair, kitchen crumbs, bathroom dust bunnies. Cuz I’m easily irritated with equipment that isn’t just right. I gave away my roomba S9 because it was taking too much of my time to keep it running ahead of iRobot updates. Cuz you don’t have to watch a youtube video to learn how to take it apart. Parts are available forever, and it’s actually less expensive to repair than the others.

Sebo rules the carpet waves. this model will probably be my replacement after my Felix/Now dart dies.. X4 likely has better filtration.
