Product is as strong as Vendor claimed.
The lock does hold up the laptop without breaking and meets. The lock is very sturdy - Manufacturer did not cut corners when making this product. I would refer to this product to all of my friends.

Works great for my Dell laptop
It chains and locks my Dell laptop. I do not need to worry about being stolen. Only question I wonder is “can it be cut with plyer?” Other than that I enjoy the peace of mind everyday in the construction field.
