I haven't had any problems with it and it sure helps a lot having the sharper tip.

This Hakko tip really carries concentrated heat for small solder jobs. It is a great match for the Hakko digital soldering station. I used this specifically for resoldering a connector on a DJI Phantom Drone. It really is superior to the general purpose tip that comes with the station for soldering small connections in tight spaces. I was surprised how well it carried and concentrated the heat. A dab of flux and a quick touch with this tip made great solder connections.

I'll use my own words to describe how I feel about a product thank you Amazon. I'm a novice with this tool and my Hakko FX-888 but this tip helped to desolder an 8-pin ATX power connector from a desktop motherboard and replace it with a 90 degree connector. It was a difficult process for me as I had to add fresh solder to the old solder so it would melt enough to suck out. Then I had to file out each hole and each pin of the connector to fit it to the board. I did not anticipate the level of difficulty involved. The tip is of the highest quality I have ever worked with. I wish i would have had it when i did an all-white velleman LED cube.

Hakko tips are the best! I wouldn't but anything else but the best! Don't even bother with those cheap chinese knock offs!

Does just what it's supposed to, the fine tip allows for soldering individual legs on SMD flat packs, 402s sized SMD's, or similar. Fits the Ryobi battery powered soldering torches perfectly.

when it comes time to replace it you can pretty much expect to replace the sleeve/enclosure - impossible to remove without damage occurring.

I ordered the product for my uncle who works for a electric company. He really liked the product and asked me to order 2 more for his friend. He said that because the product was made in Japan that why it is much better than the products that his company provides which are from China. Recommended by my uncle.

Good quality and the size is perfect to get into tight spots. I got this one because I had read that some of the other brands weren't as good quality, very happy with this one.

Panne d'excellente qualité, d'origine HAKKO avec la gravure hakko sur le corps de la panne (contrairement aux fausses pannes vendues sur ebay). Sous mon microscope j'arrive bien à voir la gravure HAKKO avec le logo et le "made in japan". Elle s'adapte parfaitement à mon FX-888D. Parfaite pour la soudure des TQFP en mode pine à pine ainsi que tous les autres composants et connecteurs SMD. Je recommande. PS.
