Shop - Fantasy PU Foam Zweihander Broad Sword with Inner Core - Varies Style from 42.5" or 57"

As a super fan of FFVII, I was in total awe at seeing this when I got it. Not only does it look accurate to Remake but it feels incredibly sturdy as well. Although it did arrive with a couple of dinks more than likely due to shipping, the way the marks are make it look like battle marks so I kind of dig it. Although it might not be 1:1 scale, this Buster Sword is absolutely incredible, sturdy, and accurate for a big FFVII fan. (Also, I actually do prefer the handle design on this than the actual handle design in Remake). Pro-Tip: DO NOT try doing Cloud's victory animation (Remake/Smash or especially OG). The way that real life physics work is that if you try to spin this prop like that, the handle will probably break. I did the first spin very slowly and and started to feel a tiny bit of give and immediately stopped. But its perfect for doing most of the other poses where the sword is steady.

This is a good display and cosplay piece. That being said cosplay doesn't translate to hitting things, if you just carry it you're good. I wouldn't swing it super fast or hard but any pose is doable. Minor flaws in the paint, so minor I'd have to point them out. Of all the buster swords I've seen on Amazon this is the one to get. It is a bit pricey as the price went up 40$ from reviews I read but still not bad. It's not OVER priced, just pricey. I don't recommend resting it on the blade when displayed as it may gradually put a dent in the edge, the back side however is sturdy for sure.

I preface this review by saying that I belive this is, without a doubt, a five-star product. This review gets four because of the condition in which my first and second orders arrived. Final Fantasy 7 is one of my favorite games of all time, so when I saw the Buster Sword for sale, I knew I had to pick it up. The sword itself looks and feels fantastic. It's massive (even though it's scaled down from actual size) and looks very convincingly made of metal. The paint is beautiful and the design is spot-on. My frustations began when my first order arrived. The bottom of the hilt was broken off, and after thourough inspection of the box, I determined that there were no fragments to be found. The box was well-sealed when it came, meaning that THEY SENT IT TO ME KNOWING IT WAS BROKEN. It was a little piece admittedly, but when I drop $100 on a halloween prop, it had dang-well better be in pristine condition when I get it. I returned it and reordered as soon as I could. The second one arrived about two weeks later, and while thankfully the hilt was completely intact, the tip of the blade was bent very noticeably with scuff marks where it was resting in the box. Both orders came in a large box with only a plastic sack for protection. Given the easy-to-damage nature of this product, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a layer of bubble wrap or two be used to protect it. Ultimately, I reccomend this for any FF7 fan, but I can only hope that the packaging standards improve significantly.

I'm returning mine because while the reinforced label is accurate it doesn't apply to the handle which bent under the weight of the sword blade let alone a swing! This amazing prop is durable and perhaps has a broken support but as is, is woefully unfaithful to the advertise reinforcements... The outer material is a hard plastic foam material that stinks like car parts and looks great. But the handle bent under it's own weight. The picture options are amazing but sadly not worth it to me. If I got a broken one I'll gladly immediately change my almost glowing positive review. This looks great and works but can't be swung really...

I actually really like it. Kinda heavy which i like since it shouldnt be easy to swing around. I wish i could find a good outfit to go with it but no luck so far. Back to the sword though. I seriously plan on setting up a display for my wall. Like others said small imperfections but really good for the price for sure. Not big on cosplay or plan on using this for anything so i cant rate for durability but looks great. Ill use it for Halloween this year if its not canceled to take the kids trick or treating.

I love the FF7 Remake and this replica looks just like the Buster Sword in the game. It's appropriately large, and the construction is sturdy! It's the kind of hard foam that my Leviathan Axe from God of War is, but the nature of this weapon makes it look better because the details of metal are easier to capture than wood. I did many poses with it and put them on my ig story and several people thought it was super cool! It's got good weight to it too. I can swing it around but my girlfriend can't hold it in one hand!

Sword came in very fast. It is a bit smaller in scale, compared to other reviews,luckily mine came in just fine with no damage. The details on it are great. Yes it is foam but sturdy enough. The handle does feel a bit short but its not biggie. Great for a quick pick up and prop for the cosplay . Just becareful though because over time the paint can chip off since it is foam , but seems you can find ways to fill it in. Over all I am happy with the product.

I made the mistake of believing the pictures in the post. One of the pictures describes it as metal and steel. Come to find out, if I had just scrolled down and read the description, it specifies that the sword is foam. And that's cool for cosplay and whatnot but for someone that was actually hoping to have a steel sword to go with my official steel Sephiroth sword, I was a little disappointed. No, let's be honest, I was beyond disappointed. But it was my own fault because I went by the pictures and not by the actual description. Just a word of warning, read everything because the pictures cannot be trusted.
