self closing gate hinges work smooth
Installed this hardware on a gate for our deck at to of stairs. The hinges work smooth but the latch is a little flimsy but it works.

I did not have any problems installing this item, and it has been working great in the several months since I got it. Will buy 1 more now for another gate

They don’t work
No good. We have adjusted them and the gate still doesn’t close. I wouldn’t buy

You can release the tension with a thin pointy item (Like a small drill bit)
I could find no manual for the hinge, but looking in the hole where you tighten it with an Allen wrench shows that the hole extends further. If you stick something thin and pointy in there, it releases the self-adjusting spring tension. This worked great for my project.

This product is easy to install, however my gate is already sawing down. The hinge must be cheap and can not hold the gate up.

Facile a installer et fonctionne super bien

Used it for the gate into my yard. Now when people come to knock on the door they don't "inadvertantly" leave the gate open so that when I open the door my dog doesn't get out. It's a sturdy set and I'm pretty sure will hold up to the weight of gate and the weather.
