The perfect iPad Keyboard; the only model I continue to purchase!
This is exactly they keyboard I was looking for, as I've used this same type of keyboard for almost 10 years. It never disappoints; it's light and easy to fold up. It has a backing that's made out of the perfect material; I don't like my iPad to have a hard plastic backing. Great product for a good price!

Slim, lightweight, durable, functional, looks good.
Fits perfectly on the iPad. The magnetic connection is very strong. The iPad does NOT fall out of the folio--whoever says this doesn't actually have the first party case. It does increase battery drain, but only by a little bit. Use is very seamless and I personally like the keyboard feedback. It's very slim and looks like a regular folio. The quality of the materials is really nice as well. The keyboard is water-resistant, which has come in handy for me once. The folio protects the front and back of the iPad. It looks really good with the iPad, you can tell that Apple put lots of time into making it look nice combined with the iPad. The color is charcoal-gray, not black as it might look in the picture. Overall, I'm loving it. 5 stars.

This is the Best keyboard I have ever had for my iPad
I Love this keyboard. Yes, it is pricey but it is perfect and unlike others you do not have to charge it which makes it well worth the price to me

Saved my life!!!
This keyboard cover just saved my iPad from disaster! Like any normal person who forgets stuff, I put my iPad on the hood of my car while getting my wife into the car to go to the doctor. Getting onto the highway, speeding up to around 55 mph, I hear a loud crunch as the iPad hit the trunk then sailed onto the road. I watched in my rear view mirror as it landed on each corner before it opened and sent my iPad skidding across the road. I stopped, collected the cover and the iPad, fully expecting both to be trashed. HOWEVER, except for small damage on each corner of the cover, with only one corner slightly scratched metal (no glass breakage at all), I was shocked!!! The design and structural material of this keyboard is a champion on any scale! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! And, oh by the way, I’m writing this report from the doctor’s office!

Very Reliable
To set the stage, I tried two Bluetooth keyboards (Zagg & Chesona-sp?) prior to buying this Apple keyboard. After dozens of hours on line with Zagg and Apple tech support and multiple returns and exchanges, I gave up on the Bluetooth keyboards (same issue with the Chesona); I was constantly having to try and pair. I even went so far as to have Apple download my iPad system info and send it to "Engineering." At the end of the day, I just couldn't stand messing with the Bluetooth keyboards. I see reviews from plenty who don't have that problem, but for those who do, this review is for you. The Apple keyboard pros/cons- Pros: Well built Thin Reliable Does not require charging (it runs off the iPads juice) The keyboard is sealed, you can't spill fluid into the keys Locks into position with a magnet-nice Cons: Expensive-ish The iPad easily detaches from the cover backing. Prepare to always be on guard for accidentally detaching the iPad. If you pick up the folio part without having a grip on the iPad too, the iPad is going to come loose It only locks in two pre-determined viewing positions (you can fold the keypad in half for table use) Protective? A little bit, but it doesn't appear to be built to give a lot of impact protection. Bottom line: The Zagg is a superior design by far. Unfortunately, for me the Zagg was not reliable, which makes the Apple Keyboard Folio my choice. If not for the Bluetooth issues, I would go with the Zagg in a second.

Used option is just as good as new
I bought the “Used - Good” option fully expecting minor cosmetic flaws, but it seems brand new! Only the box looks used. The case feels solid, sturdy. My iPad attaches securely with the strong magnets, no danger of it slipping out. Attaches very firmly when it’s in the laptop position, there’s no sliding down and losing connection like my old iPad did with an older generation of Smart Keyboard. Typing is quiet and smooth, no lag. The instant connection to the keyboard, no dealing with a Bluetooth connection, is such a nice convenience.

12.9 Keyboard Folio Review
Keyboard is lightweight. Apple made so it is very good quality. Picked this over the Logitech mainly because of click and go, magnets to click in, low profile, and can do portrait mode. Pros: * Textures keys * Soft * Light * Able to do portrait mode * Command shortcuts are nice * Don’t have too charge it (plug and play) * From what I read - it’s covetable under AppleCare+ witch the iPad (Apple Pencil as well) * Magnetic placement into the Folio Cons: * Bounces when typing * Keyboard flex if pushed hard enough * No backlight * No top shortcut row like Logitech or other keyboards * No protection around the case, edges are exposed

Light, compact but space key is a little tight.
I have both this keyboard as well as the Logitech equivalent for the 12.9” iPad Pro. They are both capable keyboards with different persuasions. The Apple KB is light, compact and does not require Bluetooth. The Logitech KB is bulkier, uses Bluetooth and therefore requires charging. The Logitech however does offer better protection and has backlit keys. Overall my preference is the Apple KB because of the compact nature. The space key is a little tight but I hope it loosens up over time.
