Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great engineering. 24" x 48" shelve. Very strong, great design. Easy to assemble. Took about 30 minutes to hang - 1 person. No, the lag bolt does NOT interfere with the shelve - not even close.

These shelves are really strong if you have a way to install the lag bolts that come with them. They are large and hold firm. I had lighter duty needs and used smaller bolts so I would expect the weight limit to be reduced significantly. These shelves have similar materials and construction to many closet organizer sets. The wire shelves are easy to mount and you can easily see what is stored on them.

These are very strong shelves amd are so easy to install. I love the depth of them as they allow you to put bigger storage containers.

Just like Monster Racks hanging celling storage system, these racks seem to be made extremely strong and quality supplied bolts/washers for the install. I also liked the extra wire clamp to put on the center stud (16" studs go: bracket, wire clamp, and bracket); really nice inclusion and put this way over the top for me. This ensures that the wire shelve won't accidently come off; I still added zip ties but I like the extra security and ensure the shelf doesn't slide left/right. I won't load it to 250# per shelf, but it seems every secure.

20220407: I've installed two of these now. Both racks are solid, sturdy, but each had a small issue. The first, the support was bent a little so it would not line up square with the shelf rack. Some velcro fixed that easily enough. The second shelf, the shelf rack itself was bent, so it droops a bit on the side. I can only guess that maybe something happened to it in shipping. Shipping container: the box the rack comes in is pretty thin, and there is nothing inside to protect the rack, which is probably why the pieces were bent. Construction: the wire racks are heavy guage metal and welded where the wires cross. The back is double-wired, and the front is quadruple-wired. The rack is _very_ sturdy. The brackets are stamped and enameled, good, heavy pieces of metal. Installation: 3 lag screws per bracket. Works best with some pilot holes before putting the lag screws in. Install the brackets on studs. There are hangers that come with the rack. The hangers only work properly if used on the front of the rack, so leave those for last. After installing the brackets, the wire rack fits onto the front slots at the tips of the brackets, then rotates down to cuts for the rack. Snap in past the lag screw heads and the rack is installed. The rack does rattle a bit. The manufacturer gives a small bracket to keep the rack in place, but that does not work well, as it is screwed into the drywall. What works very nicely is some velcro straps on one of the brackets, and some hot-melt glue at the points where the rack meets the brackets. That is six spots. The glue hardens and the rack is completely stable and quiet. No noise, no rattling. Overall impression: sturdy racks. Strong. They hold at least 200 pounds, and my son was doing pull-ups on one, so no issues with weight. I'm quite happy with the product, strong, stable, sturdy. Good size, easy to install.

I installed one in my laundry room to set detergent, etc. on and the other one is in my shop holding test equipment. These are very sturdy. I like how I could put the brackets anywhere I wanted. All hardware was included.

Sturdy enough for our use. Great organizer.

These are great shelves for the money! Sturdy and well made. We purchased these several years ago and though the price has gone up from then, these are still the best out there for the money!
