Great company, great product
I have been using this for almost a week now and I LOVE it! I've been having issues with dandruff for a a few months now and it became serious about a month ago. My hair started shedding a lot but I didn't realize it was because of the dandruff. My dad told me some wonderful things about castor oil helping with hair growth. I couldn't find any plain castor oil in stores so I checked Amazon and found Aria's castor oil had great reviews. After ordering, I was pleasantly surprised to find an email from the owner, Aria, with uses and tips for castor oil. Lo and behold, her email states that castor oil can be used to treat dandruff! Around this time I found out that my hair was probably shedding due to dandruff so I was even more eager to receive it. The first one I received had a broken seal and it looked like some had been used (this is the second thing I've ordered from Amazon like this so I'm starting to think it's their drivers!). Aria was very apologetic and sent me another one that same weekend. I had just washed my hair the night before with head and shoulders which definitely helped but the itching and dandruff returns around day 3 (normally, I can go up to 2 weeks without washing my hair with no scalp buildup and or itchy scalp). I massaged my scalp with the castor oil. Day 3 comes; no itching or flakes. Day 4, 5, 6... No itching or flakes!!!! I washed my hair on the 6th day and will be massaging my scalp again today. I don't use it on my scalp every day but I am using the castor oil every day as a sealant for my hair and ends. My hair feels a bit softer and my ends don't look as bad as before, even though I'm in need of a trim. I'm also using it on my face as a moisturizer. It makes my skin feel really smooth. I will definitely be purchasing this again and because the company is so awesome, I will be checking out some of their other products. Aria, you have a new loyal customer :)

LOVE!!!
This castor oil is THICK and super nourishing. Amazing for hair growth, lashes, brows — everything. The pump is a lifesaver for mess-free use. Because it’s so thick, I mix it with other oils, but the results are worth it.

Superior quality castor oil for hair eyelashes and eyebrows.
Castor oil is the best kept secret about keeping hair healthy and voluminous. I have been applying oils in my hair and I primarily used coconut oil which gives my hair silky feel. Even hairdressers notice that my hair is soft. When it comes to castor oil, I tried using Jamaican castor oil which can usually be found on Amazon or in the health food stores. I love this oils very much. It comes in a generous 16 oz plastic bottle and it has a color of gold. Seller also included a pump with this bottle so one can easily dispense the oil in the hair or on the body. I purchased small reusable bottle tube containers with eyelash brushes which I filled with the oil. U use it to apply oil on the eye lashes and on the eyebrows. Castor oil is the best kept secret in the beauty industry. I hear people buying very expensive products like Wonderbrow, Latisse, etc. when in fact castor oil has the same or better effects, it is natural and it is as effective in helping eyelashes become thicker and better taken care of. This is a high quality product and I would strongly recommended to anyone who wants to use natural chemical free products to keep their hair, eyelashes and eyebrows healthy and really thick.

So far so good as a base for the oil cleansing method
I don't have anything to measure this oil against yet, but used this as a base to try out the facial oil cleansing method using jojoba as a carrier oil, 2 drops castor oil to every 8 drops of jojoba. I'm very happy with it so far. The basic idea is that oil dissolves oil. So applying the right types and proportions of oil FOR YOUR SKIN TYPE should dissolve clogged pores as well as be absorbed as a natural moisturizer. Jojoba oil all on its own has been excellent as well, and doesn't leave any oily residue at all. My skin feels revitalized, softer and clearer, since I started this routine only a few weeks ago. Practice does help - I'm getting a feel for the benefits and best methods. Mindfulness and awareness - paying attention to what it feels like - also helps to find the right balance of oils and amounts to use. I'm now doing the oil cleansing method 2x/day. I use a 4oz bottle with dropper, and as mentioned above, for every 8 drops of jojoba (or other carrier oils such as sunflower, which help the castor oil to be absorbed) I use 2 drops of castor oil. However, that works for me, and might not for you - I'd recommend researching the oil cleansing method on at least 12 sites, as the approaches vary, and there's a lot of great feedback in comments about what works and what doesn't (too much info, in fact, much of it conflicting or wrong). Proportion is really important- too high a proportion of carrier oil (for your skin type), and you'll break out. Too low, and your skin might peel (mine did, a little, on the first few days, until I diluted from about 25% to 20% or a little less). Be sure to research the best proportions and combinations of castor oil to carrier oils for your type of complexion (oily, combination, dry). A few things did stand out in my own research: 1. don't use olive oil - it can clog the pores, 2. be very respectful and cautious of the castor oil - don't apply it directly to your skin unless you know what you're doing. 3. use very small amounts! or you'll create an oil barrier, rather than allowing the oil to absorb completely, which it should. Once I felt comfortable, I did apply very small amounts to problem areas with successful results. I've been very happy with the results so far, and seem to have the proportions down. Note: Use a good castor oil, mixed in the right proportion to a good carrier oil that is good for you. I'm happy with Jojoba oil, but some people break out using it - some like sweet almond oil, sunflower oil, etc. Definitely research - "oils 101: basic skincare with oils" was a great article that I found, because the recommendations are spot on: use very small amounts, understand how to judge if an oil is right for you or not, or if you even need a moisturizer, don't expect miracles overnight, and understand what you're putting on your face and into the pores of your skin. Also understand why and how one oil labeled "cold pressed" can be very different than another. I'm still learning, and don't necessarily endorse one oil over another - I've just had good results with Aria Starr so far, and will do more research. I'll have to update this review as I learn more (increasing to five stars if possible), as well as with the brand of Jojoba oil that I got at the local natural food store. Here's what I currently use: pre-mixed oil in 4oz Amber Glass Dropper Bottles, Refillable Glass Bottles for Essential Oils, Cosmetics, Cooking, and More (8 Pack) works for me - and smaller 12 New, High Quality, 2 oz Amber Glass Bottles, With Glass Eye Droppers could be better. 1 plush, soft, microfiber cloth- VibraWipe VWM-08 Microfiber Cleaning Cloths, 4 Colors - 8-Pieces is pretty nice (and soft cotton, rather than microfiber, is recommended for sensitive skin - I'll probably switch to that) 1 hand towel my daily oil cleansing method (2x/day) 1. soak a plush, soft, microfiber cloth in hot water and put it on your face until it cools - opens pores 2. put about a dime-sized amount (at most!) of pre-mixed oil in your palm, rub your hands together to warm it, and then gently rub the mixture into the skin of your face with your fingertips, for two minutes. [Make small and gentle circular motions - don't rub too hard, and you might begin to feel how cleansing this is. You can include the areas around and right up to your eyes, but be careful not to get any in your eyes, as it can burn. ] 3. soak the handtowel in very hot water (not too hot, of course) and fold it so it doesn't cool, or work quickly 4. soak the microfiber cloth in very hot water (not too hot, again), and put it over your face, followed by the handtowel, which will make the heat last a lot longer than the washcloth alone. Enjoy this part :-) Give your face this steam bath, and let the steam open your pores. As the towel cools (a minute or two), VERY gently wipe away oil from your face. 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4, above, once or twice, depending on how much oil residue remains. After the first round, you might use the handtowel to gently wipe away oil, as the microfiber now has oil on it. 6. wet the cloth with very cold water and put that on your face - it's not only refreshing, but it closes the pores and locks in the moisture There you have it - other recommendations out there include using a fresh cloth every time, wash oily cloths separately, add baking soda to the wash, etc... it's kind of a lot to deal with, so I'm trying to make it as efficient as possible, and considering dropping to 1x/day. Enjoy!

The Total Body Oil
I am loving this castor oil. This oil is scentless, so no worries about smelling oily when you are in public. If you desire a scent, just add a few drops of lavender oil or any scent your desire. I add a little to my hair conditioner, and I put a little on my finger tips and rub into my scalp, while my hair is wet or dry, it makes my hair soft and smooth. You do not need much, the consistency of the oil is not too thick and not too thin. One or two drops in the palm of your hand and put on your face and my skin is nice and soft, this is a plus for the cold weather. I my daughter take it to the gym with her and after swimming, she washes her hair and add a little to her hair to keep the chlorine from drying it out, it has put more bounce to her curls. You can also add a few drops to a leave in conditioner as well. It is just a wonderful hair and skin moisturizer. I will be purchasing more, the whole family is enjoying this oil.

My go-to Castor Oil! Love it in my oil treatment
I've purchased this brand of Castor Oil twice, and I love it! I started using it monthly as part of an oil treatment for my hair, and it's done wonders. I have very fine brunette hair that used to be very thick when I was in my teens, and has thinned out over the years. Especially around the front of my head where I part my hair. I wanted to regain some of the thickness and make my hair healthier in general. I have used this (nearly, sometimes I get busy! haha) every month since the start of 2017 and there has been a VERY noticeable difference. My hair is much thicker than it used to be, the thinning on the top of my head is filling in again. This castor oil does smell very strong, but as I mix it with coconut and tea tree oils it's not quite as strong in the mix. I rub this mixture all over my hair/scalp and leave it for 8 hours inside a shower cap. After washing it all out and letting my hair air dry, it is so very soft and fluffy immediately afterwards and looks amazing. My hair was barely to my lower back when I started, and it's grown a few inches since, which doesn't seem like a lot but my hair had been at the same length for years and I thought it would be impossible to get longer. To address the problem of getting thick oils *out* of my hair completely, I have been using Fekkai's Apple Cider cleansing shampoo. Anyone finding this too thick or sticky to work with, I place my (tightly closed!) little mason jar of oil mixture inside a mixing bowl that I fill with hot water. This makes the oil warm and easier to work with. These bottles last quite a long time, I still have the original bottle I purchased in November 2016 and its contents are just the same as when I bought it--no molding or discoloration before expiration date as some other reviews have stated. I store mine in the bathroom closet. The second bottle did not come with an expiration date on it but I am not worried since my first bottle is perfectly fine. Picture shows my mason jar of oil mixtures including Aria Starr's Castor Oil, my original bottle of Aria Starr oil I started using in January 2017 with how much is left, and the recent bottle I just purchased. I am a creature of habit, and since this oil works, I will keep buying it every time I'm close to running out :)

Please get yourself a bottle. You're welcome 😊👍
My actual Facebook post: To all my "friends" that knew about Castor Oil and never told me about it...I hope u walk around w a big fat piece of spinach btwn your teeth and can't get it out for a week! Shame on you for keeping such a miracle to yourself...to those of you who don't know about it...consider yourselves "put on"! You know, cus I'm a "real" friend! You're welcome 😊👍 I love this stuff! I bought it primarily for my hair. All the coloring made my edges weak and I started loosing a lot on my sides. But after I got it, I googled all the uses for Castor oil and started using it everywhere! For my hair: I bought some glass dropper bottles and mixed Castor oil with Argan oil, Tea Tree oil and Rosemary oil. I leave that on my shelf and apply whenever possible (depending on my hairstyle i.e. pulled back, or curly). It's been three weeks and I already notice a difference. Actually, I noticed after one week. You don't need a lot and if you forget to apply for a day or two it still works! Seriously, I use it maybe three times a week and I already see a vast improvement. Same for my skin. For skin: I started using it on my stretch marks and it helps smooth and fade. Then I started using it for cellulite...OMG so good! My skin feels tighter and softer. I mix a small amount in my hand with my regular lotion, to be able to massage it all over (castor oil is thick and sticky) and I do this until I'm no longer sticky. Great way to massage yourself and have the added benefits of better skin. Even if you don't use it everyday, I promise your skin will still feel it two days after (even after showering). I apply it on my face as well before bed - have seen an improvement in my eyebrows; they seem fuller. I massage it on my feet - it alleviates aches and helps with the calluses. I'm sure there's more to do with it but right now that's what I use it for and love it. Please get yourself a bottle and Google away!

Be Careful
This quality oil. I’m a VERY sensitive person to anything. I first put it on my arms & legs. It’s great feeling. Next I used the wrap on my stomach, for only an hour. Around 3hours later, I began feeling like I needed to lay down. It was 8:00pm, by 3:30am, i passed a kidney stone, 5:30 another stone. I believe it was making the toxin’s in me. The hot & cold flashes were unreal. Yesterday I put it on my eye lids for my dry eyes. I couldn’t get out of bed because I was so dizzy. Total migraine day. I will continue to use as skin care, but that’s it for me.
