I received my pounce wheel kit today, and was surprised to discover that I received 3 full units, instead of one handle with three heads. Not sure if that was a "happy little mistake", but thanks! Please have realistic expectations. They're built well, for what they are. But, don't think you're gonna be pushing down on these like an 800lb gorilla. They're on the dainty side, so use some sense. So far, they're working well. I'm looking forward to (hopefully) years of solid service from this kit!

I bought these for transferring patterns onto wood in various carving and scroll saw applications. They are sharp and having three sizes is nice. One wheel was poorly aligned when I opened the package and required some careful work to make it right. The pivot screws that go through the wheel to hold it on the handle, for some reason, have the screw slots ground off after assembly. The one with the problem was way loose and let the wheel wobble terribly from side to side. I took some small pliers and was able to grasp the head of the screw and tighten it just enough to close the sides of the handle together while pinching them to take pressure off the screw. It worked, but their quality control folks should have really caught this problem. I do recommend these tools, just look them over carefully when you get them to make sure they are good ones. The screws are tiny and could break or strip out easily, so if you are in any way unsure of yourself, return them and get a replacement set.

I use these for making the appearance of nail and rivets in models. Saw it on a YouTube video and had to give it a try. It works.

For Artists looking for a device that will help get work safely out of there favorite hardbound sketchbooks: It’s very difficult finding a good hardbound sketchbook with one that has a gentle way of removing the papers if you want to get rid of a page or give some art away or frame something. No artist likes to have to take a razor blade and hope that it doesn’t cut through other pages and it’s a real hassle and you could accidentally cut threads that bind your sketchbook. Or worse?! You slip and it cuts into the drawing! (Oh the humanity!) So I decided to buy this tool. I specifically wanted a hardbound sketchbook with mixed media (thick) pages and I couldn’t find anything with perforated edges. This device helped me to just find the book I need and then use this device with a ruler and wa-la! Perforated edge meets single sheet of paper. Just make sure to gently fold the paper back and forth before you tear.....and tear it with the ruler in place. This device is now in my art case with everything else and it’ll be a permanent staple in my art supplies. I’ve also used it on cotton (t-shirt), construction paper, and poster board. As long as you have a good board underneath to prevent damage to a surface, this little device can cut through a lot. Just be sure to fold the line back and forth first before you tear!!

Awesome quality and perfect Marks everytime. I have tried a couple different kinds of these and have not been satisfied with any of them. Theveryone only reason I bought other ones to begin with was because I did not want to buy the package with all three sizes when I only needed this one, and had never seen them for sale individually until now. I wish I had of found it sooner because I would have saved a lot of money. Excel has the best quality craft tools available, never think twice when purchasing excel products, I know they are going to be made well and will last forever.
