Great value. I work for an independent shop and this is as good as snap on I promise. Just have to learn to how to use it. Easy to use and dives pretty deep into diagnostic vehicles issues. Live data is clear and easier to read than my old tools. The ms906 pro feels very robust in my hand. It’s get a solid feel that shows they put some thought on protecting it. It has a very useful kickstand that I use to hang over my steering wheel while I run scans. As far as a scanner, it’s one of the more runouts scanners you can get at this price point.

As an auto technician, I chose Autel ms906 pro when upgrading my device, it fully meets my expectation! The interface is intuitive and easy to use, with comprehensive functions and wide vehicle coverage. It's much faster than the snap-on tools I used before, and without the ridiculous price tag. This is a powerful scan tool. I've owned several Autel scan tools starting with the DS708 almost 15 years ago. They have become an industry leader in professional scan tools for a reason. I'm a full-time tech, and the MS906 Pro has turned out to be one of the most dependable tools in my shop. The hardware is genuinely fast, the layout is easy to work with, and it runs smoothly without the little hiccups you normally get with mid-range scanners. Coverage is solid too, it gets into just about every system I need, and it handles newer vehicles without any issues. What really stands out is the depth of functions. ECU coding, bidirectional tests, and service functions all run deep and reliably. It handles procedures that my old tools in the same price range simply can' t do. This scanner is a lifesaver for all mechanics! Not only is on the lower budget side, but it also does things that expensive scanners cannot do! I have a Snapon Triton that doesn't allow me to access the PATS system to do a parameter reset. This scanner had absolutely no problem doing this function. I also tried to re-learn the height on a Mercedes after replacing the airbag and the Snapon scanner didn't allow me. This Autel allowed me to easily program the height with no issues! Definitely recommend this scanner for all mechanics!

I have had good experiences with this diagnostic tool. After comparing several options, I decided on the Autel MaxiSys MS906 Pro. I have other auto scanners but they seem to be lacking in certain areas. This scanner does well with ecu coding and bidirectional tests, which I use regularly for diagnostics and part replacement checks. Scan speed is fast, and the tool is responsive. Even the updates were quick and easy to install. Time will tell how it handles different car brands but so far, I haven’t had a single problem. A+++.
