I’ve been using this powered hub for a while now and it works really well for expanding my workstation. With seven USB 3.0 data ports, I can keep all my peripherals like hard drives and printers connected without having to swap cables constantly. The data transfer speeds are excellent, handling large file transfers quickly and reliably. The two dedicated smart charging ports are a standout feature—they detect my devices automatically to provide a fast charge for my phone and tablet. I also appreciate the physical power button and the individual LED indicators that let me see the connection status of each port at a glance. It’s a sturdy, well-designed solution for anyone needing more ports.

Now a days it seems harder and harder to find a computer with enough USB ports to be able to accommodate the amount of devices you need in your daily workflow. Being a music producer and content creator this hub has saved my life. I am going on my third year since I’ve purchased this USB hub and I do not regret it one bit. I purchased another around the same time and this was the keeper between the two. The way it sits on my desk I sleek and out of the way. I have a few external hard drives attached, my audio interface, midi devices, and my gaming controller adapter. I love the fact that I didn’t have to keep swapping devices while putting my cables and USB ports on my tower in jeopardy. As time has gone on I found this hub to be very, very useful and reliable. To top things off it has a dedicated fast-charging port that works great for my GoPro when I am recording on it with no battery. It is plug-n-play with no need for any drivers. It has a power button for easy turn off or reset, if needed for whatever reason. I have zero heating issues with it and the lighting on the buttons and ports are subtle yet visible. I’m not going to lie. I did buy another hub recently thinking I would save a couple bucks, but I might have made a mistake by not buying another one of these by TP-Link… Definitely recommend.

Brest hub. Nice slim design. Good amount of ports. Powered hubs are the only way to go and this one supplies a good amount. From what I’ve seen it doesn’t get excessively hot while being used heavily. I have 2 of these. I use one for my PC and the other is for my Xbox Series X with no compatibility issues. I fairly certain you could use this with anything that has a USB port. It’s backward compatible with 2.0 but if you want to get the most out of it use it with, at least, USB 3.0. Charging speed seems to be good. I don’t use it for charging specifically because I have multiple charging stations. Usability has a wide range thanks to a lack of complexity and unneeded features that require specific software or drivers. The hub connected to my PC has portable hard drives, 2 wireless usb dongles for a mouse and a keyboard, a charging stand for a Jabra headset, a 4k windows hello webcam, and a few other things I can’t think of off the top of my head and it works flawlessly.

I had bought this product for a new computer I had built and from the get go I had some problems with connecting USB's into it and them staying connected to my computer. For the longest time I had assumed it was my computer being buggy and just not being properly updated, but it turns out that it was a compatibility issue. The description of the product says that this hub is compatible with Windows/MacOS and Linux, but what it fails to mention is that if you are using Windows, you need to be using Windows versions between 7 and 10. I'm a Windows 11 user and the whole time I was under the assumption that it would be compatible with my that version of windows when in fact it isn't and even says so on the box. This info is not anywhere on the page so just be aware of that. Anyway, the Product itself is built extremely well and even works well on a laptop I tested it on that is running Windows 10 Home. If it was not for the lack of such an important piece of information on the product page then I would have rated this 5 stars. If you are still wanting this hub specifically and are running a Windows 11 computer, TP-Link actually sells an exact version like this on their website called UH720 V4. Just updated to work with Windows 11, albeit at a raised cost. Regardless of the problems I faced, I recommend this product for anyone needing a reliable piece of hardware that gives you some extra leeway on how many accessible USB ports you have.

This is great as it has 7 ports and 2 charging ports as well. Works well. I bought the first one several years back, since then have bought 3 more - one for my son and another for my PC and one more for my Mac. Works well with both Macs and Windows PCs.

Uso um UH720 há quase dez anos e ele sempre funcionou sem falhas, com ótima estabilidade e potência para vários dispositivos. Gosto tanto da qualidade e confiabilidade que acabei comprando um segundo aqui. Recomendo sem hesitar.

Reaktion, Kompatibilität, alles voll in Ordnung. Habe, wie fast alles im Arbeitszimmer an WLAN-Steckdosen hängen, um nur dann Strom zu verbrauchen, wenn ich es auch benötige. Funktioniert dort auch sehr ohne Probleme. Passt alles.
