This splitter has performed fine for the last year. It gets disconnected and reconnected a lot and has shown no issues. Good price for a good product.

I use this to combine audio output from two different computers into one stereo speaker system. I use one computer at a time and it works wonderfully. All three ports are stereo so then two stereo connections in means one stereo connection out. Not to be used to play sound from two sources at the same time; just one or the other at a time.

I work from home and needed a better sound setup for my laptop during meetings. The onboard sound on my laptop was pretty quiet and I dislike using earbuds or headphones. This cable allows me to combine the output from my desktop and the output from my laptop into my pc external speakers. It works great and sounds excellent!

I found a program that let me connect my mouse and keyboard to my MacBook Pro and use it seamlessly between my MacBook Pro and my Windows laptop. Since I did this I wanted to connect both computers to the same set of speakers. The only thing I don't like, which I don't believe is an issue with this component, is the fact my MacBook Pro dominates the connection. If I play the same video at the same volume level on both computers the MacBook plays better and louder. I am still trying to find a way to resolve this. Otherwise, it does exactly what I want it to.

Not 100% ideal for music as there can be a very subtle to not so subtle delay depending on what aux chords/ speakers you use but it's great for movies and TV shows if you use good auxiliary chords

This was the second one of these I ordered. Thinking there would be no issues, I did not open the package and examined the cable until when I needed it three weeks after it arrived. Thinking it was a female 3.5mm splitter to two female 3.5mm, I was quite surprised to find instead two 3.5mm female to USB mini male cables. This is the first time this has happened, so we'll see how the return process goes.

I wanted to have my two monitors using the same stereo speakers. The monitors have 3.5mm female outputs and the speakers the 3.5mm male connector. I used this cable to connect the speakers to the monitor (all are 3.5mm male ends) and I already had extra cables that were 3.5mm with male ends on each end around to use for the monitors. I used this item and now both monitors (one for Xbox and the other for my PC) use the stereo speakers. If you have the same needs then this will work.

Bought this assuming it splits a 3.5mm source into two 3.5mm outputs. Turns out it doesn't. This is not a 3.5mm splitter that splits a single 3.5mm source into two full 3.5mm outputs. What it does is take a 3.5mm source and split it into a single left and single right channel output. I used it thinking I'm actually splitting the input to two outputs, the sound was terrible. A quick test proved this.

Generates hum making product unusable. I bought UGREEN and it works perfectly.
