Toner works perfectly. Spend a few more bucks to buy the brand name toner. The generics are mostly poor quality and are likely to mess up your printer. You will regret it, I assure you.

I ordered this set and have only one issue. the 251 BK cartridge doesn't work. keeps getting message the printer does not recognize it. So I have 4 good cartridges installed and the printer won't work at all. Almost $80 of ink useless at this time. Maybe Amazon can make this right.

I've tried several low cost brands of ink and Canon is the best. I recommend their product and getting them on Amazon for the best price. I take a lot of pictures and print them on my Canon printer, so quality is important to me.

Only the authentic Canon ink cartridges work in my old Canon printer. I found that any other brand fouls it up’
