This Amazon Basics Charger works perfectly with my rechargeable batteries, both AA and AAA, and is a replacement for a name-brand charger I previously owned. I didn't follow the advice about unplugging the old charger and putting the batteries aside after they're charged. Leaving it plugged in with batteries in place caused one of them to leak, rendering one side of the old charger inoperable. The Amazon Basics Charger also comes with a USB port to charge the batteries, an improvement over the one I was using. This is an excellent battery recharger at a very good price. Just remember to unplug it and remove the batteries once they're charged.

The Charger really works as advertised, the price is fair as is for basic models, it works any battery, the power is very well balanced for the charging capacity, the manual is very well explained how to use it, is my first one to own a battery charger. I use a lot of things in my home with batteries, especially around Thanksgiving and Christmas and during the winter. I loved it! I went out and bought two more and more packs AA AA batteries. It has saved me so much money. It does a good job recharging the batteries and they recharge fully in about three or four hours. So I always have batteries charging. I would recommend this as a money saver for anyone. The batteries may not hold the charge as long as say a regular, brand new battery, but the beauty is is that you don’t throw them out! Bought this to recharge amazon basics batteries, that way nobody can tell me im doing it wrong. Works well with AA and AAA batteries but you can only charge 4 at a time of either one
