31 May 2020 Total £27.99 Delivered Tuesday We Can Source It Ltd - 250 x 1000ml Rectangular Plastic Microwave Freezer Safe Food Meal Prep Recyclable Takeaway Containers and Lids - Top Quality Ca Sold by: We Can Source It I found i was going thru a lot of containers in the microwave. they say they are stain proof - they say they are non stick - they say they are easy to clean. they say a lot of things. and they are not cheap. So i decided to H with it i'll get some disposable ones..... After all take aways use them and ready meals in supermarkets are plentiful. There must be blowing these out by the million - they must be cheap. right? Well it took me ages to go thru pages of Amazon stock. part of the problem is with amazon - i'm convinced they don't always show you everything in the search results and sometimes you can find what you are looking for in the suggestions under a product you are looking at. that means i plow thru all those too. another part of the problem are the descriptions on some of these products. sometimes they are downright lies sometimes they are just misleading and sometimes they just dont give you enough to go on. so i spent a LOT of time going thru tons of items. for all i know there might be still better deals that i just didn't find. there were all the expensive ones i've gone thru before - i dismissed them - then came the packs. these are as you'd expect flimsier than the expensive ones. but then they are cheaper. however not cheap enough to use 'disposably' and not robust enough to use a lot. there were some items that looked better value but they fell in to the category that i wasn't convinced by their description and product details. part of this problem was when the pack looked cheap enought they didn't give the size/volume so they could have been tiny. this was made more likely when there were similar items that did give the details. i soon realised 500 ml to 650 ml was a non starter for me. way too small. 750 mill was my last resort size. but these babies.... oh yeah they da ones. 1ltr. yeah baby. so finally i found these - i have to admit that i was on the verge of going to Ali Baba and getting 10,000 for a penny - but honestly if i had a house big enough to store that many price wouldn't be an issue. these puppies looked just right. right size - lids - decent looking thickness - good description - looked like reliable suppliers - everything. then i looked and the reviews. come on people aat least make them meaningful. ignoring the gubgub gannet brigade there are always soooo many that complain (or praise) but they don't say how much they paid on what supplier they bought from. well given that there can be a bunch of suppliers ranging in price and percentage reviews how are we to guess? thats why i tell you at the top who i got it from and the price. now you are informed and can make your decision. if you're still here you're probably wondering what the product (the tubs) are like. they are just like they are in the picture. they are not the brittle sort of plastic nor the really bendy sort of white plastic they in between. so, rigid enough to be useful pliant enough not to break in the freezer or if you just look a them a bit funny. what else is good - they have lids - these seem like a good fit - i haven't conducted any experiment to see how water tight they are but good enough to transport to the freezer etc. also they stack nicely - use ful for filling the freezer. so a little over 11p each excellent value for money. one last thing - a lot of the useless reviews that pt me off took the time to add a photo but still didn't say who from or how much - this males the fact they are bitching about the product and most often that they were arriving damaged pretty much pointless. what i can say is that my 250 were delivered in a box - and these are rough guesses because my eyes don't come with a calibration for imperial or metric option - about 18" x 18" x 24" OR for yoots 45cm x 45 cm x 60cm. there were 5 polythene bags each containing 50 tub and the same containing the lids. i'm guessing this will last me at least a year. but do bear this in mind - unless you're going to use a lot repeatedly, you will need to store them. as you can tell i am extremely happy with these. ACID TEST: would i buy again/recommend - YES

Perfect!
We love these boxes! Lids are easy to use, boxes are sturdy and a great quality. It fits a lot of food. I order these every time we have a family gathering as we always distribute the left over food to all guests and these come in very handy!

Storage
They are ok, but can crack easily.

Not bad!
They are really good quality in my opinion, maybe won’t last more than a few uses, but that’s fine by me. Just wish I’d realised how big they are as they’re huge and will take up lots of room in my freezer lol,

Flimsy and easily damaged
I thought based on the reviews that these were good quality containers for an affordable price, however, they are very low quality and incredibly flimsy!! I broke or cracked about 3 tubs already just from general handling/washing/drying! Personally would not buy again

Okay fir the money
I'm sure when I ordered these it said 'restaurant quality' or something along those lines. Anyway the plastic is very brittle and the lids snap quite often trying to get them off, even when the food is defrosted! Okay for the money I guess
