Amazing product!!!
Great product worth every penny app is a bit pricey if your not going to use it often but a must have tool for car repair tells you codes and exact issues also tells you step by step how to fix it. As well as an AI mechanic to asked question and call support as well it helps you know a price range for shops so you don’t get over charged for repairs. I used it yesterday when looking at a car which had no codes on the dash FIXD told me the pending codes and also made me aware the codes were recently cleared which gave me such piece of mind. Knowing a serious community de was cleared prior to me looking at the vehicle. I’ve decided to pay for the year subscription

This little item works great but it has a small caveat if you want its full functionality.
This little item works great, but it has a small caveat if you want its full functionality. As OBDII scanners go, this one does the job at a fraction of the price of a professional scanner. It shows all the information on the screen in an easy to set up software with an intuitive menu. Easy for even the least mechanically inclined people to use. However, you'll need a separate iPhone, iPad, or Android device to install the app onto. It color codes the issues as to their importance. Green means you should be fine and it's more of a suggestion than an issue, Yellow means check it out soon or have a mechanic take a look, Red means you should probably stop driving your car and set it on fire. Just kidding. But the information is displayed fully with the OBDII codes along with the explanations as to what they are. In my case, there was a Stored Code and a few Pending Codes. The Stored Code defined what the code is, however the Pending Codes showed 'Unknown Issue'. I had to go online later to look them up. There's also an option to clear the dash lights that did not work for me. So does the scanner work? Definitely. Is it worth it? Probably not, and here's why. The caveat I mentioned? You have to purchase their Premium version at a yearly fee of $99.00 if you want to unlock the scanner's full potential. It includes; "Cost and repair estimates from the Identifix database, Unlimited calls to our FIXD Mechanic Hotline for a trusted second opinion and DIY help from our network of ASE certified mechanics, And much more! FIXD Premium is a monthly subscription that is optional and is not required for use of the sensor." After the purchase price of $37, that makes this little bugger $137 right off the bat, with an additional $99/year after that. However, they do let you try it free for one week (cancel at any time). If you're using this scanner for multiple vehicles, and you're getting paid for it, then you might find the fee not so much of an inconvenience. However, if you're like me and are only using it on your daily driver, how often do you think you're going to use it to qualify that fee? I used it this once, found the codes, and now it'll probably sit on a shelf until the next time the need arises for it. And since I'm mechanically inclined, I can resolve the issues on my own. But, again, "the subscription is optional and is not required for use of the sensor." If you want a scanner that offers more functionality with no extra costs involved then purchase one of those instead. But if you're an average Joe or Jolene and you just want to see why your car has those dash lights always on, then this little guy does the job just fine.

Helpful little tool
Worked pretty much as advertised. Did no diagnose my explorers trans problem however. Was great diagnosing an issue that popped up on a used car test drive.

Must have if you own an older vehicle
Bought 2 to replace one that I had that got wet and quit working. Now I have one for each car and love them. This product with worth its price, saves in the long run. Easy to use and reliable.

FIXD is a Hugh let down.
Overpriced piece of plastic. Bought it as an upgraded version of my outdated OBD 2 scanner. After seeing so many videos of how great this product was and how things have improved through the years, I bought one. I download the FIXD app, plug it into the port, and wait for the reason why my AIRBAG/SRS light stays on. No mentioning of AIRBAG/SRS light, just low voltage and tire pressure; the same info on my gauges. I even have to type in my mileage, something my old, ZURICH, did automatically. My $50.00, Harbor Freight, years old, outdated scanner displayed that the cause was a Right Front Acceleration Sensor was the cause. Now, this "antique" couldn't explain how to fix it or what the cost would be to have it fixed, but after watching YouTube videos, I understood what part that sensor played and how to replace it. FIXD is constantly begging for more money from you for the "latest"/"upgraded" version of a product that just came out. So, for whatever the ever-changing price is, $30.00, $50.00, or $75.00, it will never justify the lack of features, the please subscribe hounding, or the time wasted on this P.O.S. I've had my ZURICH for years and have never had to pay a "subscription" fee and it kicks this FIXD overpriced butt. I think my favorite part is them trying to convince you to buy more than one device, along with more added fees. If the first one sucked, why would I buy a second one?

GREAT PRODUCT NO COMPLAINTS!!
I absolutely love this product! I buy and sell cars on the side and boy has this little device save me so much money and headaches. I buy from Facebook marketplace and the amount of shady dealers selling from home saying no check engine light. I come no check engine light on but boy when I run this device and check they have a bunch of hidden codes that they just temporarily erased but it was still stored and this device finds all of them. Also love the description of the problem and how to fix it. Great product HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Product Works
Love this tool. Yes the line is blurred about the 100 something fee for the phone app, but totally worth it. Just today I went to look at a used car. Car was incredibly clean. Did smell a bit of gas under the engine. Plugged in the Fixd unit jumped on my phone and 5 codes came up. Saved myself the headaches and thousands of dollars. Thank you! Product Works 💯

Tells you what is wrong, basically the same as an automechanic's device would but in simple terms. We had a misfire and took it to a mechanic to confirm and they told us the exact thing. I do not like, however, how they push the membership on you with every click. In our day and age, Google helps way more and for free. Unless you are constantly having a check engine light come on, I wouldn't recommend the membership. I wish they would be a little more forthcoming with information on the diagnosis but I get they have to make money and support their employees, but it is another money grab. It's really good for clearing engine lights, and tells you how to clear them or what to try if they don't clear. I'd recommend these over the conventional OB2 scanners for the sheer fact this is user friendly. My husband is just starting to learn how to do fixes on our car, and with the help of our local auto shop he was able to fix and clear the engine light. Between the purchase of this, our trip to the mechanic and fixing it ourselves we saved about 300-400$. Recommend highly for anyone who isn't fluent in mechanic tech and even if you are its great. As someone who doesn't know much about vehicles I had more confidence when calling the mechanic and finding info on our fix. They don't want you to use it on multiple vehicles but ha were going to - they recommend one per vehicle ... Overall, good choice for us. Would recommend to really anyone to have, even if your check engine light hasn't come on ... handy to have!

Actually interesting product, thought it would be a bit of a gimmick but it actually does work really well ...it discovered and diagnosed several issues.. then cleverly itemise everything in detail fashion giving you an idea what it is from a "non-technical point of view" it also cleared my check engine light on my Volvo XC 90 however it does come back after 2 days.. so they gave me a detail Detection of a lean fluid mix and adjustment to the idle settings. However unfortunately didn't clear the seatbelt check airbag on the BMW118I and didn't find anything wrong with that vehicle... which was a bit weird, they wanted to pay $4.99 a weekly subscription or whatever a month and year... to utilise more detailed analysis info... I didn't find that necessary it does this job pretty well (free version) . I must say it is impressive little OBD reader probably the top end of these non-model specific company branded detailed torque unique readers. Can highly recommend but be prepared for the Pay to get unlocked some of the upmarket features but you can do a monthly subscription on my case a weekly subscription just to get the information you need for that particular week with a few cars very cost-effective, don't listen to the people that say it cost you a "yearly subscription" that's not the case you do weekly ...highly recommended – Andrew Australia
