Dorman 42437 Headlamp Mounting Kit Compatible with Select Models

Easy enough to install in my International Loadstar truck. The mounting screw slots were slightly different but this was not listed for my truck so I expected a slight modification would be needed. Quite satisfied with the product and it came in much cheaper than the International truck version. Very well made and the bulbs fit in perfectly. Definite great buy!

Although I wish I could have just purchased the retaining ring alone. The product was an exact match. I’ve purchased several Dorman products over the years and they are as expected. Buy with confidence.

they looked good but the head of the adjusting screw didn't fit well. I had to modify before I installed which was disappointing. Other that that, they were good quality

This item is just the bucket. It doesn't include the spring or two adjustment screws. The C shape hole where the adjustment screws go isn't shaped to fit the collar on the screws. They simply will not fit. I forced a screw into the hole and it fell back out. These buckets will require modification in order for them to actually work. Terrible design, why is the screw hole open on one side anyway?I ended up bending my original buckets back into shape and making them work. Much easier than trying to make these crappy pieces work. The metal on these is weaker and bends easier, so even if I made them work they would not hold up long before my headlights fell out of adjustment again.

Installed on a 2000 International 4700, all I had to do was straighten out the slight bend in the top notch for the adjuster screw & grind a small lip off the back of the notch for the side adjuster screw. 2 mins tops, fit perfect afterward. When you buy 1 of these from the dealer, granted it comes with a new standard sealed beam light but for $90?????? This one was open box for $24 & I already had a good light to put in it. No brainer which is the most economically feasible choice!

Product was good and good quality. However I had to modify the inner portion to make it work with the factory headlight adjustment screws. The screws should snap into place but the supplied product has an opening that is thicker than the factory. Simply required a little bit of grinding to get the factory adjustment screws to snap in. Additionally, do yourself a favor and run all the screws for the bezel into and out of the holes on the receiver, as they are not threaded and are a pain to try and do after install.
