The speakers in my 2014 Macbook Pro had failed woofers; the sound was very tinny and unpleasant. Just installed these replacements today, and I'm really quite pleased with them. The sound quality is pretty decent, definitely much fuller sound now. The installation process is non-trivial, though; I've been servicing laptops on my own for a long time so I was pretty comfortable with it. Still took me 1.5 hours. Managing the screws you've taken out is very important, there are a lot of different styles and sizes.

Worked like a charm. Found a YouTube video that walked me through it step by step. Took me 10 minutes. It was so helpful that the screwdrivers had magnetic tips. Sound quality sounds way better than my crackling speakers. New speakers fit perfectly and were compatible with my MacBook. So easy to do.

The process of removing the old speakers can be grueling and you need to be very careful with only the tiny screws and brittle paper thin cables on your Mac Pro but the quality of these speakers are excellent and I couldn’t be more pleased. While you’re at it, get a battery replacement and everything will work like a brand new laptop. Well worth the effort and bless everyone that put up quality instructional videos in YouTube.

I received these quickly and undamaged as replacement speakers for my MacPro 2015 laptop. The speaker is average quality and produces good sound. I did not expect it to be the same as the original, but it is close enough that I like them. The installation instructions were easy to follow and the reverse directions were needed. Take pictures as you go for your own knowledge, but they are not needed. The fit is that of OEM all the holes line up and all the screws seat back through into the board. I believe these speakers will last a couple years which is all I need. I have had these in almost a month and seen no issue with battery life, quality of play, or errors coming up. Great product.

I'd been living with rattly speakers for years in my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013). When I finally needed to replace the battery I decided to clean the whole chassis out and replace the speakers. Pricing and reviews were reasonable so gave these a try. They wound about as good as I recall the OEM ones and certainly better than the rattle I've been living with. Installation was a pain but that's on Apple for their complex laptop design. Everything went back together and with the new battery (and plastic feet) it's like a new laptop again.

Did these speakers work: YES! They sound good! Do they sound as good as the originals? I can't say for sure but they might. I don't have a good way to compare that. Is this an easy install? NO... This install isn't for the faint of heart. You have to almost completely remove the motherboard. Part of each speaker is tucked underneath the motherboard and, of course, there's a screw under there :( There are excellent videos on how to do this on YouTube. If you just follow the instructions, keep all the tiny screws organized, take your time and be patient you can do this. While you're at it, consider installing new thermal paste on the processor and video chip (if you have one). If your Mac is old enough for the speakers to have worn out I can guarantee the thermal paste has dried up and is no longer effective. AND ANOTHER "While you're at it", put new batteries in if you haven't already. I had already replaced the batteries and thermal compound about a year ago. Seriously, just do it.... OH AND ANOTHER THING LOL - you'll be removing the SSD when replacing the speakers, if you need more space take care of that too...
