Kala Brand Madras Curry - 500g

I purchased this specific curry powder to make Trinidadian Chicken Curry. It gives it authentic flavor! Absolutely delicious!

I always like this curry since living in Trinidad. It's not readily available where I am so I have to get it on Amazon, however the price is somewhat high and the expiration date is to close

I'm from Trinidad and my mom used this all the time. So I am happy I can buy the here in America.

I was given a bag when visiting the Bahamas. Ran out and found it online but ingredients are different. Not as good, I add to it to round out flavors 😏

I'm a fan of well cooked curry. My instapot mini does a good job. Saute and pressure cooking makes great curry. Kala curry powder is a pleasant mixture, real similar to Chief brand, made by the same folks in Trinidad. I made a really tasty chicken curry today, as a matter of fact. It doesn't have any heat, so peppers are required. Good price for a pound, it won't last long😎

There is no other curry better than Kala. I’ve tried several and always return to this favorite.
