Raxiom Tail Light Sequencer Harness Kit with Tuning Plug and Play Wire Fits Mustang 1996-2004 Excluding 1999-2001 Cobra

I had sequential turn signals on a 1971 Cougar and thought they were very cool. That was one of the things I liked about that car! I've seen the newer Mustangs with them and wanted mine to do the same. Until I found these, I thought I would have to go to a junkyard and harvest a set off of a newer Mustang. They are extremely easy to install, and each light socket is numbered so there is no guessing to the order. I do recommend getting the modified flasher,(Despite it being over-priced for a flasher): without it, the lights flash too quickly. Also recommend LED bulbs to replace the originals, they are much brighter and look better.

Works well, straight forward installation

I had a bad taillight socket in my Mustang and tried several things to fix my rear directional indicators. Those efforts ending in failure, I looked into sequentially flashing taillights like the newer Mustangs. I chose this set because it was less expensive than a late model restoration retailer’s offering. I found the instructions sufficient to accomplish the task at hand. One tip: take a moment to remove the plastic panel inside the trunk. It allows unfettered access to the pertinent parts. I found the swap went very quickly, all three taillight bulbs and backup light bulbs fitting the new sockets. I replaced both sides because—hey, they’re sequential! I checked the lights’ function before installing the protective plastic panel. Everything worked first time. My only problem was that the sequential flashing is very fast, much faster than desired. I found this disappointing, but it fixed the initial problem. They are fine for now. So if you are having a similar problem, a bad taillight socket, this is a (pricey) solution. If you want the cool sequencing taillights, I suggest you look a little farther and spend a few more dollars. I hope this is helpful.

Want sequential lights for your mustang? These definitely will do. Other reviews complain about the speed of the light, I think it’s perfectly fine. My 17 year old son installed these in less than 30 minutes. Direct plug and play. I like the speed personally bc it catches the drivers behind you attention. Not too fast and not too slow for us. Highly recommend especially for the price.

I've had these plugged in since day 1 of owning my mustang. Great value. Lights up every time sequentially. The look after us so much more eye catching. They easily fit with the removal of a few panels. Great quality.
