Works fine but requires some setup
This mic works well, but in windows you need to go to its settings and increment amplification so it can pick your voice with a decent volume. Sound quality is acceptable.

Good omnidirectional MONO condensor microphone non powered, unbalanced 3.5mm TRS plug
It is a good condenser microphone, it is heavy so it won't move easily, the cord is really short and you will need to purchase an extension to make it usable. The jack on the end is a 3 conductor 3.5mm TRS, with tip ring and sleeve. (Ground, Right audio, Left audio) The ring and sleeve are wired together as this device has 1 single condenser microphone and is not STEREO as the advertisements claim. It just has a stereo connector that has both the left and right channels connected together. If it was a stereo microphone it would have two condenser microphones in it, and it only has one. So that bit of marketing defies common sense. I record nature audio sounds using a hand held recorder, and hand held recorders usually do not have balanced microphone connections, this is an unbalanced mono microphone with a stereo 3.5 TRS connector on the end. I purchased several of them because I actually do record multi channel audio by using an adapter. The marketing is a bit off and misleading, if not completely incorrect, but most distributors are just distributors and usually know nothing about electronics or how devices actually work. So this is an unbalanced mono condenser microphone with a 3.5mm TRS stereo jack on the end and no hardware, or circuitry, in between the connection from the jack to the microphone, There is no noise reduction hardware, neither is it a powered microphone, the wires just go directly to the condenser microphone. So your microphone input should be powered and accept 3.5mm TRS stereo connection, it will also work with a powered input of TR 3.5mm mono connection jack. Which means like 95% of the computer audio hardware should accept this as in input source. I don't even have a high school education if that helps you put this in perspective of how bad marketing has become these last few decades. I just wish Amazon would force distributors to be more honest with their marketing ads, or at least be factual and list the source company in case people have questions.

PC it has to be a dedicated mic jac not a Headphone/mic jac
Great sound. Evan picks up whispers. But If you use it with a PC it has to be a dedicated mic jac not a Headphone/mic jac as it will only work dedicated mic jac.

Did not work on my Mac Mini
This would not work for my Mac Mini. I have a bridge that has a 1/8" input, but this mic would not send a signal. Might need one with a pre-amp built in. It did have a little weight to it and was the right size. Possibly the USB version would be better. I will need to return this.

Works great for voice search
This works great for a desktop PC to be able to use voice search like in Chrome. I think people often have laptops now so the mic is built-in. I have an older desktop I use for music.

Not a bad microphone
I purchased an aftermarket head unit for my car that had Apple CarPlay, and unfortunately, the microphone that came with the unit was trash. It gave me the option to attach my own plug-in microphone, and when I purchase this one with the hopes of getting better audio quality for my phone calls, I was pleasantly surprised as everybody says that they can hear me perfectly. Not sure what you would use it for personally, but it’s pretty sturdy for a speaker. It is metal and feels durable. Worth the price tag.
