Works great
Great quality. Excellent build. Pulls out more detail especially for planetary shooting.

Edited a probably premature review-
Editing my review. I’m not sure if the gradient is normal, because I don’t have experience with other qualities of filters. But, I will say the seller reached out to me to offer a refund. Before I took it I decided to try this filter again, using new (better and way more in-depth) processing software I’m getting familiar with. I found that even with a gradient visible, I’m able to correct it in my images and it doesn’t seem to affect the outcome. I included a second photo with this update of NGC1499 (keep in mind this is heavily processed), showing no signs of the color gradient. I’ve had the same results through the handful of other targets I’ve imaged since trying it again. I’m happy enough continuing to use it and experiment with results with and without the filter, and decided not to take the refund offer - thanks to the seller for offering it though, for that reason I’m leaving this review as 5-stars. I’m leaving my original review below, for transparency, but I think it’s a non-issue. I do wonder if expensive name brand filters would show the same thing, and I almost expect they would. ———————————— Previous review: Not sure if it's because I'm using it with a camera with a large sensor size, but it shouldn't happen. I finally got a new mount and got to test my new setup, 4 days outside of the return window for this filter... Didn't get far into testing before I realized every shot with this filter had a very noticeable red>blue gradient across the image. The image I'm adding here is several 3 minute exposures of M31 stacked and lightly edited with ASIstudio to try to get rid of some of the gradient without removing the details I want in the image. As it is, I can't use this filter, and already removed it from my rig. I had high hopes based on recommendations.

It really cut out IR
Just curious if it is just a placebo. Tested it with the phone camera and a TV remote, without the filter I can see the small bulb blinking on the remote through the phone camera. Once the filter is in between, blinking just disappeared, amazing. Great price

Great product
Great product, it really takes care of unwanted uv/ir emmission lines.

great for the price
The nominal performance and the price is great. One disappointing thing is that under high illumination I could see that the brand new filter had some small stains on the surface. It also had some dust on it. The dust I can clean with a blower and a camel hair brush. The stains though...or maybe it is a finder print residue, I hope not......would require solvent and kim wipes, and I just dont want to do that. I don't like this because flat frames do not perfectly correct for illumination non-uniformity. I would rather have perfectly clean filters. I care about that more than the spectral performance.

Works as per specifications
I have verified, it does block both IR and UV light.

Works Fine
Works fine as an IR cut filter.

Seems good
Unfortunately I have not been able to use it due to the weather where I live but it seems to be very good quality! Better than the filters that came with the Celtic Bird set, excited to use this filter!

Astrophotgraphy is a fascinating hobby. So much to learn and when you're starting out, there are so many ways to spend money on gear. Some of it we quickly find out we didn't need or it didn't work or was poorly made.....Don't even get me started on budget versus premium (sometimes just overpriced) SVBONY is viewed as budget (beginner) alternative in the Astro world, however, I have found that there products including UV IR Filters to well made, affordable and much well above their weight when it comes to value.... Highly recommended..
