Yes! You need this. Everyone needs this magic popcorn maker. I was skeptical at first that it would make such a difference, but boy does it ever. I have since bought this maker bowel for a few people and suggested it to many others as well. Why is it so great? It literally pops 98-100% of your kernels, and to perfection. Every time, without fail. No chemicals, no oil, no paper bags, no added mess. Add plain kernels to a fill line (inside the bowl), but I use about 1/3 cup. Place off center in your microwave (this did make a positive difference), gently place the lid on top. Use the popcorn setting on your microwave and add time if needed. Popping is usually about 2-2.5 min or until continuous popping is done. Don’t overdo it. The bowl fills up, popcorn is perfect, season as you desire. Use the maker as your bowl or transfer it and make another round! This is fast, easy, super high quality. The biggest tips— use newer kernels and place off center in your microwave. Love the size capacity and that the bowl collapses for easy storage. So glad I got this bowl— every popcorn lover needs it.

This is one of the COOLEST items for a microwave ever invented! We make LOTS of popcorn in this. In short, since there seems to be some questions about HOW to do it... here are my brief instructions, followed by some more in-depth chatter: 1. RINSE the popper just before using, to let it be a tad WET as you start. 2. (optional - can pop dry just fine) Add 1-2 Tbsp of OLIVE OIL or SPICY HOT OIL to popper 3. Add ~ 1/4 cup of POPCORN to the popper 4. Put into the microwave and set for 3.5 minutes When it's out, sprinkle on whatever is your choice for toppings. Our favorites: A. This popper is super flexible and versatile, to where you can add all kinds of flavorings BEFORE popping if you wish, as well as AFTER popping. Different forms behave differently in the course of popping vs after the fact, but we've experimented with lots of different ways of using the popper, and have had great luck with ALL of them! If you enjoy dryer, cleaner popcorn, then don't add any OIL up front (and of course, it does also add CALORIES, so if that's a concern, then that's another good reason to forego the oil) That said, we find the FLAVOR is just far superior when adding an OIL. And you can choose a variety of different kinds of oil, too... basic VEGETABLE OIL; CANOLA; EVOO - EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL (one of our favorites); SESAME CHILI OIL if you like things spicy; or any flavor you come up with. We've also popped in BUTTER; MARGARINE; I-CANT-BELIEVE-IT's-NOT-BUTTER; HOT SAUCE; BBQ SAUCE and even various SOY SAUCES, WASABI PASTE and other oddities just to kick it up a bit with some other flavors. The "sticky" things like BBQ sauce or wasabi are best mixed into a bit of oil before the corn goes in. As the oil heats and the corn sizzles, the mix coats things nicely. One interesting fun fact about various colored sauces... the popcorn will START to pop in the darker sauce, and as it pops further and further, the last corn will all be almost totally WHITE, making for some very interesting VARIETY among the popped kernels. (but even the white kernels maintain some of the flavor from earlier... just a nice blend!) So if you start with SPICY SESAME OIL, for instance, the first few seconds of popping, those popped kernels fall back into the oil and soak it up, then distribute it into other corn as it continues to pop... And when the whole thing is done, shake it up a bit and you're in for some very attractive looking blends of color. (see attached pic) We especially like SAVORY and SPICY odd and flavors added into the microwave popper during cooking, but have also tried CINNAMON+SUGAR, COCOA+SUGAR and CARAMEL APPLE FLAVORING into the popper just to see what it does. And, not surprisingly, it does a pretty good job of distributing these SWEETER flavors into popped corn for a totally different experience. I see some reviewers here say they don't like MICROWAVE POPCORN and prefer air popped or stovetop popped... and hey... no shade. But until you've given this popper a whirl and seen just how INCREDIBLY FLEXIBLE it can be, I'd highly recommend you don't give up on the nuke option too quickly! HAVE FUN, and come up with some TOTALLY DIFFERENT ideas of just what this incredibly simple snack choice can be. It's cheap, fast and a lot of family fun!!!

This microwave POPCORN MAKER is the perfect solution for someone like me who LOVES popcorn, but hates all of the additives in prepackaged bags, and likes simple, straight-forward solutions! This is so easy to use and convenient! After about a 5-year hiatus from eating popcorn (due to broken teeth and my dentist's recommendation), I'm eating it again and LOVING it!!!!! (Popcorn makes me so HAPPY and is so nutritious and filling!) There are very few un-popped kernels left behind. I pop 1/4 cup kernels at a time, as I find it easier to manage than 1/2 cup kernels all at once. So delicious, too, with just spray butter sprayed on top after popping. The popper is collapsable (like a collapsable water bowl for a pet and pet parent on a walk) and efficient to store on the pantry shelf. The popper lid inserts into the popper above the kernels, and that's it! MICROWAVE on popcorn setting or timed, and WHELA! A beautiful full bowl of deliciousness! THANK YOU, Zulay Kitchen!

This does a good job of popping popcorn in the microwave. Most of the kernels pop as long as I have the right time set on the microwave. I have burned popcorn for keeping it cooking too long, and I've also left a lot of kernels unpopped for too little time. The right time requires some trial and error with your microwave. It cleans up fine in the dishwasher and collapses conveniently for storage. Unfortunately, some of the burned kernels stained the bottom of the bowl early on, but no huge deal. And you do have to watch your hands when you remove it from the microwave - grab it by the tabs and still be careful. I put the bowl on a tray due to the heat, and it's a bit tippy when standing full of popcorn.

This is a wonderful product, works well.

This is an awesome popcorn maker! So affordable, and so easy, you can even make popcorn without oil to keep it light. You can add your own seasonings or butter if you want. Easy to clean. Collapsible for easy storage. It was recommended by friends and I’m glad I listened!

We love this nifty popcorn bowl. It makes popping popcorn so easy…and much healthier since you don’t need oil. We love that it collapses for storage. It’s also easy to clean. Once you get the hang of it, you can get almost every kernel to pop…with no burning.

I was introduced to this product by a friend and am weary of plastic products. This is so practical and has very good results with few kernels at the bottom of the bowl after popping. It’s great. The popcorn always comes out perfect..never burnt and what’s the best it takes 2 mins to pop the popcorn. My father loves popcorn and is a senior and has mobility issues..so this popcorn maker is perfect for him. Easy Peasy. He loves it too. No having to mind a cooktop or machine. Love it!

Ottimi pop corn anche senza usare olio.

Quedaron mejor que las palomitas de bolsa. Coloqué las semillas hasta la segunda marca del fondo, que es como 1/3 de taza; puse un poco de aceite en spray, una cucharada sopera de mantequilla y una cucharadita de sal, ajusté el microondas en 3 minutos en potencia máxima y se hicieron casi todas; solo le puse 10 segundos más hasta que dejaron de tronar.
