I SWEAR by these. My step daughter is mixed & has very thick, curly hair & she uses these. I borrowed one & loved them so much that I bought these. I too, have very thick, kinky hair (I’m black) & these are the BEST scrunchies. They do lose elasticity very quickly, I toss them every 1-2 weeks but they come in a 50 pack so I probably purchase 1 pack once every 3-4 months or so. Purchased my last pack July 2025 & im about to purchase my next one in a few days (November 2025) Love these scrunchies, truly a life saver for anyone with a lot of hair or very thick hair.
