A solid 6ft USB-A to C workhorse for cars and desks — not flashy, just works
I bought this because my old car cable kept dropping Android Auto every time I hit a bump on I-95, and the 3ft one that came with my phone was too short to reach from the center console to my dash mount. I’m in Florida and travel a lot for work, so I needed two reliable 6ft cables: one for the rental car, one for my hotel setup. My expectations were simple — stable Android Auto, decently fast charging, and data speeds that don’t crawl when I dump GoPro footage to my laptop. I’ve been using the 2-pack for a week now. One lives in my car plugged into the USB-A port, running Android Auto with a Galaxy S25. The other stays in my laptop bag for charging and file transfers. How I actually used them 45-minute commutes daily in Miami heat with Android Auto + Google Maps + Spotify. No disconnects, no “device not supported” pop-ups. Transferred a 22GB folder of 4K drone clips from my phone to my laptop. Timed it at about 38 seconds, so it’s actually pushing close to USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds. Both ports have to support 10Gbps or it drops lower. Overnight charging on a standard USB-A wall brick. It pulls 3A max, so about 15W. My S25 went 8% to 100% in ∼1 hr 50 min. Not PD-fast, but fine for overnight. What matters day to day The braided nylon + aluminum alloy housing feels sturdy. No fraying yet and the connectors seat tight without wiggle. 6ft is the sweet spot — long enough to reach my backseat or a hotel outlet across the room, short enough to not be a tangled mess in my bag. It’s marketed as “10Gbps” and it hits that if your laptop and phone both support it. If one end is USB 2.0, it’ll fall back to slower speeds. Same with charging: 60W needs USB-C on both ends; this is USB-A to C, so 3A/15W is the ceiling. Heat: Florida car interiors get brutal. These haven’t gotten hot to the touch even after an hour of nav + charging, and they’re listed as heat resistant. Did it meet expectations? Yes, for what it is. I expected stable CarPlay/Android Auto and real USB 3.1 data rates, and I got both. I didn’t expect 60W charging from a USB-A cable and it doesn’t do that — physically can’t. If you need fast charging for a Pixel or iPhone 15/16, you’ll want a C-to-C PD cable. But for cars, older chargers, and laptops with A ports, this does exactly what it says. Pros & Cons Pros: True 10Gbps transfer when both devices support it — moved 22GB in under a minute Android Auto/CarPlay stayed connected even on rough roads Braided cable + alloy ends feel durable; no tangle issues yet 6ft length is practical for car + desk; 2-pack is good value 3A charging is steady, no overheating in hot car Cons: USB-A end means max ∼15W charging, not 20W/30W/60W PD Won’t do video out — media display not supported 10Gbps only if both ports are Gen 2; otherwise it drops to 3.0/2.0 speeds Slightly thicker than slim cables, so tight phone cases under 3mm clearance should fit but bulkier ones might not Value for money For a 2-pack of 6ft, braided, 10Gbps-rated cables, it’s priced where generic 5Gbps cables usually sit. If you still have USB-A ports in your car or charger and need real data speed, it’s worth it. If you’re all USB-C PD now, skip it.

Good cable seems to allow fast charge on phone and tablet
Purchased to upgrade older cable and get faster charging. This is working well and appears well constructed. Using wth Galaxy S24+ phone and newer tablet.

Works exceptionally well
I called my radio installer and asked what was going on with my CarPlay. It wasn’t linking up from the phone to the radio. I felt like it was the plug in the car. He told me to buy a good cord, one with high speed etc. I found this one and the fact that it said “CarPlay” in its description, caught my eye. My husband said it had to be something with the car. A cord wouldn’t fix it. Well, he was wrong! This cord, I plugged it in and was instantly linked to CarPlay! It’s longer than I wanted but I will adapt! I have the three foot one. Nice and flexible and good cord. It hasn’t failed to link up since I got it in my car!

Very Fast and Durable
I really like the color to remind me of the speed as compared to the plain black ones. I used one of these to connect a 2TB external USB drive to my computer and immediately noticed a speed difference! They fit nice and tight and are the perfect length to which I was wanting. I like that they feel very durable and am thinking they are well built.

Excellent "one for all" cable for a tidy desk.
Excellent USB 3 gen 2 speeds with all of my disks. - Compatible with dualsense PS5 controller 5V 1500mA. - I bought two and the second one is hosting a "picky" USB2 hub (C to A hub with A ports as hosts) with no issues. - Android auto likes it. - Qualcomm quick charge with fast data transfer from android phone to pc is another success story. - It seems like it can output multiple voltages with ease, so yes it literally is, an "one for all" cable! I only uploaded one photo for thickness reference as it is being sold in different lengths. The quality feels fantastic. The connector is durable. It is not a soft cable but bends easy enough if needed. Must have for an office with less cables. Adding an adaptor for micro usb devices would make it perfect. I bought them for 17$. Yes I would prefer a better price but in the end of the day you end up with 2 premium USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) with backwards compatibility that output multiple voltages to charge any devices you might have. Recommended product. FYI - Breaking down USB data transfer rates: USB 5 Gbps: The specification name is USB 3.2 Gen 1, which used to be called USB 3.0. It offers a transfer rate of 5 Gbps, which is about 10 times faster than the USB 2.0 standard. USB 10 Gbps: The specification name is USB 3.2 Gen 2 (released in July 2013) and it used to be called USB 3.1. It offers a transfer rate of 10 Gbps over the existing USB-A and USB-C connectors. USB 20 Gbps: The specification name is USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 (released in September 2017) and it is available only for USB Type-C connectors using two-lane operation. It offers 20 Gbps transfer speeds. USB 40 Gbps: The specification name is USB4 (released in March 2019). It leverages the Thunderbolt 3 protocol and offers transfer speeds of 40 Gbps. (Note that the correct specification name is USB4 as defined by the USB developers. It is sometimes identified as USB 4 with a space.) USB 80 Gbps: The specification name is USB4 Version 2.0 (released in October 2022). This updated specification extends USB4 speed and data protocol performance, enabling manufacturers to develop products that can deliver up to 80 Gbps transfer speeds, but can go even higher when configured asymmetrically: up to 120 Gbps in one direction and 40 Gbps in the opposite direction. This standard is also fully compatible with DisplayPort 2.1.

Good value for money
I had one of these cables to connect my phone to pc & it worked great. So I ordered one for my car so I could connect to wireless carplay/android auto. This is an overkill for car. However, the cables I have used in the past would either work for apple carplay or android auto. But a single cable rarely worked for both. Once I started using this cable, I noticed there was minimal to no lag. I ordered a 2ft cable & length is just perfect for me. Look & feel is good. The cable feels durable. It does seem to last for a long time. I would recommend this

Just what I needed! I upgraded my iPhone and needed a way to connect to my USB A in my Honda CR-V 2019. I already had a cable but it didn’t work. So I was looking for a USB C to USB A and this works perfectly! Very happy with this purchase and would recommend.
