Keiser M3i Indoor Cycle with Free Exercise Mat!

Wow, I LOVE this bike. I had used one at a spinning studio in another state and have missed it since moving and finding none of the spin studios around me using this bike. After being frustrated with the less than stellar spinning studio options around where I live I decided to invest in this beauty. BEST DECISION EVER! Perhaps that's hyperbole but it is definitely one of the better decisions I've made. I bought this from Athletic Systems and I'm glad I did because it came here super fast (less than 2 days!) and when there was a manufacturing issue requiring a little extra guidance to fix it, Troy made sure it got handled that day. Amazing customer service! As for the bike itself, we took out the pieces and took them upstairs individually because the box itself was too heavy to carry up the stairs. After a tool scavenger hunt culminating in Lowes who was the only place around with crowfoot wrenches, we made our way home to put this bad boy together. It did take about an hour, as other reviewers have noted, but overall it was fairly simple. As noted above we had a problem that first night, as when I climbed on for the first time and pedaled we immediately heard a "whooshing" sound about halfway through each revolution of the flywheel. Knowing that probably was not what was supposed to happen, plus googling it and reading others' saying it wasn't, I called Athletic Systems the next morning. Troy was SUPER responsive and assured me that if it couldn't be fixed he would make sure to send me a brand new bike, and not to worry. After sending him a video of the sound he sent it to Keiser technicians who provided some diagnostic ideas and after a few phone calls it was fixed! It was a small problem, a belt that was over too far and hitting the plastic but Athletic Systems and Keiser made sure my bike was in perfect working order in less than 24 hours! I've ridden it a few times since I bought it and it is amazing. It has everything I need in a spinning bike and is such a joy to ride. Not noted anywhere (or at least I don't remember seeing it anywhere here on Amazon) is that it comes with a media attachment that hooks on to the top of the handlebars. This allows me to put my iPad on it and stream live and pre-recorded video spin classes through the Peloton app which is so useful and appreciated. As an aside and tip for other spinners, I HIGHLY recommend Peloton. It's $13.99 a month for unlimited rides and all three classes I've streamed were great. I was worried about having my spin bike at home and not pushing myself as hard without that instructor guidance I get from a class. I work just as hard with the app because I've got that instructor telling me what to do! My only problem so far in using it has been the heart rate monitor on the screen. It varies wildly and my HR changes fairly constantly (119, 229, 145, all in a matter of seconds). I don't know if this is the strap I'm using or the monitor itself so I'll play around with that. The ride is smooth and quiet and genuinely gives me the best spinning experiences available. I love the way the resistance adjusts and you have a number on your screen. I find it so much more useful than the resistance knobs found on most spin bikes. I haven't utilized the bluetooth because I don't really care about keeping those stats to be honest. I chose the M3i instead of the M3 because as of right now they're the same price and if bluetooth apps gets better in the future I'd rather it be there just in case. Overall I LOVE this bike. I cannot recommend it more highly if you want to spin at home. It's extremely quiet, smooth, and provides all you need for a great ride. Add that Peloton app and you have all you need to rock a spin class whenever you want without bending to the will of a spin studio's schedule. And buy from Athletic Systems! You won't get better customer service anywhere!

The product itself is excellent. The workmanship is top notch and functionality delivers as promised. Extraordinarily quiet. Design-wise, it looks like it could be in the Museum of Modern Art; no need to hide it away, you may as well display it. It's 5 stars except: The problem was the packaging. Luckily there was no damage, but whomever packaged the box of small parts seems to have zero skill with packing tape. It wasn't sealed at all. I thought I was missing parts until I dug down into the seams of the main packing box, where I luckily found the tiny screw, washer, and handle that had fallen out of the open box. Could have easily been a very disappointing experience due to simple carelessness. For $2,000, I think I should be able to expect something as simple as a properly taped box....

Excellent packaging and fast delivery. This is absolutely the finest looking and functioning I ndoor exercise cycle. Very quiet operation with silky smooth pedaling. The Shimano clipless pedals and the ability to mount any road bike seat is a definite plus. Even the free mat is high quality. Very easy and fast rider adjustments. The assembly was very easy and the instructions are straight forward.

Bike has become quite noisy despite following scheduled lubrication. Less than a year old. I've tried reach out to support several times, and they appear to have no interest in supporting their product (they don't return emails through their own support system).

Recently purchased the Keiser M3i indoor cycle from Amazon, via Brand Fitness in late October. After using one of these cycles for many years, taking spin classes at my local fitness center, I decided it was time to have one in my home. Researched and decided this would best fit my needs. Ordering process went well, delivery was great (well packaged) and set up was easy with the help of my son-in-law. To my dismay the computer monitor would not function. After speaking to a tech at Brand Fitness, who was extremely helpful and polite, I was sent a new monitor, which again, did not work. At that point Keiser was contacted and they sent a wonderful technician to look at the bike. Thought he had it working but turned out it was not. Brand Fitness/Keiser then sent a new flywheel, computer board and additional monitor along with the technician. Third time was charm and by early December my bike is finally working. I do love my bike, always have at the fitness center, and am happy to have at home. I gave the purchase 3 stars based on the fact that a brand new bike required such serious repairs right out of the box. Again, no damage to the box at all. For the price that was paid I was surprised at the quality control. Keeping fingers crossed for smooth cycling!

Wow. This bike is amazing. It is whisper quiet, came with a mat and tray that fits my tablet perfectly. I subscribed to an online spin class website and I was off. I love that the pedals accommodate both regular sneakers and spin sneakers. The seat and handlebars are super adjustable. Cannot be happier with this purchase.

I love this bike! It's very smooth, very quiet, very solid, and it doesn't take up a lot of room, which makes it perfect for someone who wants a piece of quality exercise equipment that will fit into a not-very-big space.

Love the bike, wish I could upload my rides to strava, therefore, 4star only. Also, stop your ride, lose your data...

You do not need a torque wrench to put this bike together as it stated in the manual that comes with the bike. Otherwise it was straight forward to put together as the manual was very clear.

Bike came very well packaged with no damage . They actually ask you to take pics of the packaging in case you have damage . I looked up how to assemble on YouTube so that made assembly easier. Quiet spin bike and love the gear system instead of the knob

After a few weeks of usage, this product appears to be well designed and built. It is also very quite, allowing the user to conduct normal conversations or listen to music at reasonable levels.

Fantastic product; top of the line! Fast delivery. Well worth every penny.
