Blue water lily
The lily came very well packaged. It was shipped all the way across the US from CA to VA, and arrived fairly quickly. The tuber itself was still healthy and alive, but the few leaves on it were brown and dying. This was to be expected for the heat this time of year and shipping. I put it in my pond a few days ago, and already have a small leaf starting to come out. I can’t wait until it blooms! Will definitely buy from this seller again. They sent a pamphlet in the package with instructions and it has the other colors they have available for purchase. I have already picked several other colors I will buy next! Thank you for a good product at a reasonable price. *update 9/26/24- it’s completely dead. Not sure what happened, but after the first leaf started to form it completely died. I thought maybe it was just the shock from shipping so I left it in the pond until today, and I checked on it and the entire tuber is mushy and rotten. I expected more for the cost, and would have been happy with it if it had survived. And a side note** I have several other water lilies in this pond that are doing fine. The water quality was not the issue.

Didn’t survive the initial planting .
I just recently sent the company a negative review. The plant tuber of this lily looked healthy in the package. When it arrived i potted it up in lily mix and added it to my lily tub. While the growth was somewhat stagnant, it still looked OK. However last week , one by one each leaf died and fell off, as it something was attacking it. Regardless , at this writing I am waiting to hear from the company about a replacement tuber. This is not the first time I bought product from them, always had good fortune. Sadly this time is not the case. Buyers beware.

False description
The bulbs arrived healthy looking, but I can tell by looking at them that they are NOT hardy water lilies. I’m in a zone where they won’t survive winter and I’ll have to remove them from my pond. Just be aware of that before ordering. July 6, 2022 Update: One out of four is doing very well, with flower buds emerging. Two are dead and rotten. The remaining one is still alive but not growing yet. Considering that one of them was free, I’m not out a ton of money…just a little disappointed.

Pay Attention!
My order of these water lily was shipped promptly, and delivered quickly, with the rhizomes in excellent health, BUT, be sure to keep your head on straight as you are visually drawn in by the gloriously brilliant listing photo, because the listing Title is somewhat misleading, referring to this plant as "Nymphaea King Blue >>HARDY<< Water Lily Rhizome Live Aquarium Plant". Perhaps they feel they can say that the use of the word "HARDY" is meant in reference to the rhizomes delivered being in a "Sturdy" condition, which they were, HOWEVER- This is NOT a "winter hardy" or mid-USA Zone Hardy Lily; it is a TROPICAL, and thus to survive must be brought in and stored or potted indoors during colder weather conditions. And while being raised in a digitally controlled nursery setting is great for control of receiving healthy specimens which are free of unwanted algaes or other issues, it does nothing towards attempting to improve the plants ability to withstand cooler temperatures or more moderate conditions. So, keep this in mind when ordering: it's a stunning water flower to own, however if you live in an area where your water habitat temperatures will drop below about 50 degrees farenheit for more than a brief 2-3 day period you'll have to baby this plant for it to survive and do well.

Hardy
I bought 2 and got one free. Unfortunately these were lost in the mail and took 9 days to get to me. The seller shipped them promptly and packaged them with such excellent care that despite being lost in the mail, they arrived looking stout but slimy. I was going to just return them at first but I wanted to at least give them a try and these fat, Hardy lil things are doing great. They have new leaves. They survived. I am sure that had they not been lost in the mail they would be so much further along but folks, I’m seriously impressed with how Hardy they are and how quickly it’s snapped back from shock. And the color of the leaves is soooo pretty. A deep wine color almost. They are so healthy looking. You’d never know they were so slimy just a few days ago. I will DEFINITELY be ordering more and trying to time it not near a holiday this time (I ordered too near Easter I think) and I can’t wait for for lotus blooms. I say definitively put this buyer on your favorites list. I’m very satisfied. Buy with confidence. (Fyi I did not contact the seller. Amazon did not let me simply reach out. They wanted to force me to select an issue but didn’t have my particular issue on the list of options so I decided not to reach out and make the seller look bad. I’m so pleased with this lotus even though it has a rough start. The speed of delivery was out of their hands. They tried to get it to me quickly.)

The plant did not grow
When I received this item it smelled and was slimy, but not knowing anything about water lilies I planted it anyway. When I planted it I left the crown and the leaf above the surface of the soil and about 6 inches under water. After three weeks the one leaf decomposed and there is no new growth. I have tried to contact the seller about this, without posting, but all I get is Amazon's bot. This is a pretty flower and I was hoping it would work out.
